The Sanctorum of Insight is one of the Abyss regions unlocked through the Spire of the Stars in Crimson Desert. It becomes accessible during Chapter IV as part of the Forbidden Knowledge quest, appearing right after the Spire of the Stars segment. Despite being a relatively straightforward platforming challenge, the puzzle's visual presentation can make it feel far more confusing than it actually is.
Quick answer: Use Axiom Force on each pillar orb to hop across platforms one at a time until you reach the final island, then use Force Palm to gain elevation, glide to the island's edge, and step on the central mechanism to complete the puzzle.

Prerequisites — Reaching the Sanctorum of Insight
You need to progress through the main story until Chapter IV. The Sanctorum of Insight opens after the Spire of the Stars segment, which is tied to the Forbidden Knowledge quest line. There are nine Spires total scattered across the world, and most of them — including the Spire of the Stars — are gated behind main story progression. You cannot simply stumble upon this puzzle early; Chapter IV completion is required.
The Sanctorum of Insight falls under the Spire of the Stars group of Abyss regions, alongside the Secret Garden and the Vault of Vengeance. Completing it also opens a Skybridge that connects to the Secret Garden, so finishing the Sanctorum first is necessary if you want to continue deeper into the Abyss.

Sanctorum of Insight puzzle walkthrough
The core mechanic here revolves around jumping between floating platforms, each of which has a pillar topped with an interactable orb. The goal is to reach an island at the far end of the puzzle area.
Step 1: Land on the first platform and activate Axiom Force. This gives you a zoomed-out aerial view of the surrounding area, letting you see all nearby pillars and their orbs highlighted in the environment.

Step 2: While in the Axiom Force view, target the nearest pillar orb and interact with it. This will transport you to that platform. Only activate one pillar at a time — trying to skip ahead won't work.
Step 3: Repeat the process on each new platform. Activate Axiom Force, highlight the next closest pillar, and move to it. Continue hopping from pillar to pillar in sequence until you arrive at the final platform before the island.

Step 4: From the last pillar, use Force Palm to launch yourself upward and gain enough elevation to glide. Aim toward the edge of the island and glide across the gap.
Step 5: Once you land on the island, head to its center. You'll find a mechanism on the ground. Step onto it to activate it, which completes the Sanctorum of Insight puzzle.

Key skills used in the Sanctorum of Insight
| Skill | Purpose in this puzzle |
|---|---|
| Axiom Force | Provides the zoomed-out view, highlights pillar orbs, and lets you interact with them to move between platforms |
| Force Palm | Gives vertical elevation at the final platform so you can glide to the island |
Both of these abilities are available by the time you reach Chapter IV, so there are no additional skill unlocks needed before attempting the Sanctorum.
What happens after completing the Sanctorum of Insight
Activating the central mechanism awards you an Abyss Artifact, which functions as a skill point in Crimson Desert's progression system. Some Abyss Artifacts also unlock specific abilities in the red Health skill tree — particularly those requiring elemental attunements like fire or ice.
Beyond the reward, a Skybridge opens at the far end of the Sanctorum. This path leads toward the Secret Garden, the next Abyss region in the Spire of the Stars chain. The Secret Garden involves a more complex laser-based puzzle and requires Axiom Force manipulation of objects, so it represents a noticeable step up in difficulty. After the Secret Garden, the chain continues into the Vault of Vengeance.
There are 40 Abyss Restoration Challenges spread across the entire game, and earning the Conqueror of the Abysses achievement requires completing the main story to access every Spire. The Sanctorum of Insight is one piece of a much larger puzzle chain, but it's a quick win once you understand the pillar-hopping rhythm.
