Phantasio (Umbro DPS)
Phantasio is a skill-centric Umbro damage dealer who swaps between heavy greatsword swings and close-range shotgun bursts. His kit leans toward strong, timed skill damage windows rather than sustained basic attacks. He pairs well with allies who group enemies or add consistent off-field damage so his bursts land during crowd control or debuff uptime.
- Best for: Burst DPS windows and boss phases that reward precise timing.
- Team tip: Add a healer or shielder to keep him on-target during close-quarters shotgun play.

Yale and Oliver (Pyro DPS)
This duo brings a safer, aerial-leaning playstyle: they can hover and drop bombs on targets, letting you pressure melee-heavy packs from above. On the ground, sword and shotgun give them flexible midrange options, but their standout moments come from staying mobile while delivering AoE Pyro damage.
- Best for: Encounters where staying airborne avoids chip damage and keeps uptime high.
- Team tip: Pair with ground-based crowd control so bombs land on immobilized targets.

Outsider (Anemo DPS)
Outsider is a fast, weapon-forward Anemo DPS who fluidly switches between dual blades and dual pistols. He thrives on tempo and positioning, slipping in and out of melee to keep weapon damage rolling. If you prefer an aggressive, mobile approach, he’s built for maintaining pressure without being locked into a single range.
- Best for: Skirmishes where you can weave in close, then disengage to midrange on demand.
- Team tip: Bring a stabilizing support (heals or shields) to keep his momentum through chip damage.

Randy (Electro Support)
Randy is a defensive support oriented around shielding and team survivability. His barrier is specialized: it blocks projectiles but does not stop melee hits, making him particularly valuable against ranged enemies. He complements ranged-heavy parties and objective defense, where negating incoming fire lets your DPS hold positions longer.
- Best for: Content with persistent ranged pressure and escort/defense scenarios.
- Team tip: If melee threats dominate a stage, pair him with a healer or crowd-control support to cover his shield’s gap.

Roster context and gender choice
The game lists 18 playable characters when counting Phoxhunter. Split by gender, there are 13 women and 4 men; Phoxhunter’s gender is player-selected and excluded from those male/female counts. If you want a male lead in your party at all times, you can either pick the male Phoxhunter or anchor your squad with one of the four male characters above.
Notes on future additions
More male characters have been teased for later updates, including names like Yuming and Zhiliu. The current, playable male roster remains four, and any additional arrivals will slot into that lineup as new versions roll out.
If you’re deciding where to start, Outsider offers a quick, kinetic DPS feel; Phantasio delivers big, deliberate burst windows; Yale and Oliver reward safe, aerial AoE play; and Randy adds targeted protection that shines against ranged threats. Pick based on the kind of pressure your team needs and the encounter styles you enjoy.
