SBCs remain central to Ultimate Team in FC 26. You can build and submit squads on console or from your phone using the Companion and Web App, which also highlights live challenges and their rewards. If you prefer to work on SBCs away from your console, use the official FC Web App and Companion App sign-in to manage your club and complete SBCs on the go at ea.com/games/ea-sports-fc/ultimate-team/web-app.

Smart ways to complete SBCs (and avoid wasting coins)

  • Start with Foundations. Those long-expiry intros teach the rating, chemistry, and positional rules while returning useful packs that can seed later SBCs.
  • Build from your club first. Check your untradeables and low-value duplicates before you hit the market. Upgrade SBCs are designed to recycle fodder upward: bronze into silver, silver into gold, and so on.
  • Tackle time-limited SBCs early. Prices tend to rise as deadlines approach, especially for popular weekly sets like Marquee Matchups and limited upgrades.
  • Know the repeat cycle. Prime Bronze/Silver Players Upgrades refresh weekly with a one-time completion per refresh, so plan your club clear-out around that cadence.
  • Balance chemistry with rating. Many puzzles require a minimum OVR and specific league/nation links. Don’t overpay for a single high-rated player if you can solve with better linking across leagues and positions.
  • Set a budget for repeatables. It’s easy to drain coins chasing variance on upgrades. Cap daily or weekly spend and move on once you hit your limit.
  • Submit only when satisfied. SBC submissions are final; you won’t get players back once the squad is turned in.
  • Expect price differences by platform and time of week. Costs can vary across PlayStation, Xbox, and PC and will fluctuate with supply from pack openings and promotions.

Are SBCs being removed in FC 26?

No. SBCs are an active pillar of FC 26, with new Player items, weekly Marquee Matchups, upgrades, and long-term Foundations live now. The official Companion and Web App explicitly support completing SBCs and managing your club away from the console, underscoring their ongoing role this cycle.

If you’re new this year, work through the Foundations sets first, roll your club into the evergreen upgrades, then pick your spots with Player SBCs and short-timer puzzles. Managing the cadence—weekly refreshes, daily upgrades, and event windows—matters as much as the squad you submit.
