Azurite is a rare blue crystal in Crimson Desert that most players won't think about until they try to refine a ring or amulet at a blacksmith. Unlike Bloodstone, which handles weapon upgrades, Azurite is the material gating your accessory progression — and it's far less common than iron or copper. It sells for 95 bronze per stone if you'd rather trade it, but holding onto it for jewellery refinement is almost always the better call.
Quick answer: The single densest Azurite farming spot is the Stoneback Crab Wetlands island north of Delesyia, where deposits respawn every seven in-game days alongside five other mineable materials. For the earliest accessible location, head to the cliff face west of Rocca's Hill, directly north of Hernand.

How to mine Azurite
You need a pickaxe in your inventory before you can mine anything. You can buy one from a general shop or get one for free by completing Rhett's early commission quest in Hernand. Once you have it equipped, the process is straightforward on both keyboard and controller.
| Action | Keyboard / Mouse | Controller |
|---|---|---|
| Open equipment wheel | F2 | Left D-pad |
| Select pickaxe | Click pickaxe icon | Navigate to pickaxe |
| Aim at ore vein | Hold CTRL | Hold left bumper |
| Mine | Left click | Right bumper |
Azurite veins are easy to identify once you know what to look for. They have a distinctive deep blue color that stands out against grey and brown rock faces, even from a moderate distance.

Stoneback Crab Wetlands — the best single farming spot
This small island sits north of Delesyia, near BeardTree Gorge. It packs six different mineable materials into a tight area, making it the most efficient stop for a multi-resource farming run. Azurite deposits cluster on the northeast side of the island.
A minor boss guards the area, but the fight is a gimmick encounter that doesn't require high-tier gear. Defeating it once opens the zone for uninterrupted mining on every return visit. Deposits here respawn every seven in-game days, so mark the island on your map and loop back regularly.
Cliff face west of Rocca's Hill — earliest accessible deposit
If you're still in the early hours of the game and haven't ventured far from Hernand, this is your first realistic Azurite opportunity. The deposits sit at the foot of the cliff west of Rocca's Hill, across the river, almost directly north of Hernand city. You don't need to climb — the veins are at ground level along the riverbank.
Roughly five Azurite nodes spawn here, which is enough for a couple of refinements. Garnet can be found on the opposite side of the river, and Bloodstone appears to the south, so the trip pulls double or triple duty if you're stocking up on multiple upgrade materials. Respawn timing takes longer than 24 in-game hours, so simply passing time at a campfire won't reset these veins quickly.

Cliff of Despair near Dewhaven
Just outside Dewhaven, Azurite veins appear along the Cliff of Despair in the open with no enemies nearby. The deep blue veins sit against the rock face and are simple to spot once you're familiar with the color. This is a low-risk, no-combat location that works well as a quick stop while passing through the area.
Western edge — Trader's Expanse to Urdavah
A long stretch of Azurite deposits runs along the western edge of the Crimson Desert region, from Trader's Expanse southward toward Urdavah. This isn't a place you'd visit on a dedicated farming trip unless you're already traveling through the area. The deposits are spread out, but they add up if you mine them opportunistically while moving between objectives. Note that the Crimson Desert region itself is a late-game zone, so plan accordingly.

East of Anvil Hill along the Nas River
Another reliable cluster of Azurite sits just east of Anvil Hill, near a riverside structure along a Nas River tributary. Unlike most other locations, the ore here is embedded in vertical cliff walls rather than on flat ground. You'll need to scan the rock faces up close — the blue coloring doesn't pop from a distance the way it does at flatter sites, but it becomes obvious once you're within a few meters.
Buying Azurite from Mineral Shops
Mining isn't the only way to get Azurite. Mineral Shops stock up to three units at a time, priced at 2.50 silver each — expensive, but convenient when you need just one or two more to finish a refinement. You can unlock Mineral Shops early by liberating either Cairn House or the Karin Quarry. If you've already cleared one of those locations, the shop should be available on your map.
Farming Hexe Earthen Swordsmen for Azurite drops
For players in the mid-to-late game, there's a combat-based alternative. Hexe Earthen Swordsmen — the elite clay enemies found in northeastern Pywel — have a high chance of dropping up to two Azurite per kill. They roam the area between Deadfire Mountain, Hexe Sanctuary, and Denn River.
This method is less predictable than mining since drops aren't guaranteed, but it lets you farm Azurite while earning combat experience and other loot at the same time.

Once you've collected enough Azurite, visit a blacksmith — Turnali in Hernand is the most convenient early option — to refine your rings, amulets, and earrings. Jewellery upgrades are easy to overlook compared to weapons and armor, but the stat boosts add up, especially as you push into tougher regions. Building a habit of mining every blue vein you pass will save you from scrambling for Azurite later.
