The Pear Store is diagonally across from the Bank of Oasis, near the ATM. The egg is inside the vault, and the only way through the door is with a grenade. If you don't have one, acquire grenades before visiting.

You need a Vault Cracker to break the lock on the jewelry vault. Purchase one for $10,000 from the Rod NPC at the Port. Planetary Egg — Observatory
