Every Entity in Roblox Paradox Doors — Full Survival Breakdown

Paradox Doors is a Roblox horror experience built by a separate fan team but set in the same universe as DOORS. It draws heavy inspiration from DOORS, Pressure, and Undertale Yellow, blending familiar entity-driven mechanics with an original storyline that branches off into an alternate timeline. Instead of reaching The Castle after Floor 2 in DOORS, the player gets transported to The Lab — and that's where Paradox picks up. Three Floors are confirmed, and the entities you'll face across them range from helpful guides to instant-kill threats.

Quick answer: Paradox Doors currently has six known entities — EX-15, Misleading Light, Il Verde, Il Viola, Glitch, and Curious Light. Only EX-15 is truly aggressive; Il Verde becomes hostile mid-game, and Misleading Light is deceptive but indirect. The other three are neutral or friendly.

The entity count at full launch has not been confirmed by the developers. More hostile entities are expected as additional details emerge, but these six are the ones revealed through developer previews and the demo build.

How to Survive EX-15 in The Warehouse

EX-15 is the most dangerous entity currently known in Paradox Doors. It functions as a highly advanced security system that patrols The Warehouse, hunting for trespassers. If it catches you, it's an instant kill with no second chances.

Your primary survival tool is stealth. Stay out of EX-15's direct line of sight at all times. More importantly, avoid the security cameras scattered throughout The Warehouse. EX-15's surveillance network is linked to those cameras, so being spotted by one is functionally the same as being spotted by the entity itself. Move carefully between cover, keep track of camera positions, and don't linger in open areas.

Misleading Light — Don't Follow the Glow

Misleading Light occupies a strange middle ground. It's classified as hostile, but it won't charge at you or deal direct damage in the traditional sense. Instead, it tries to deceive you. True to its name, it presents itself as a guiding light source — and following it leads to your death.

The survival strategy is straightforward: do not trust any light that seems to be leading you somewhere unfamiliar. If a glow appears that doesn't match the expected path or feels out of place, ignore it entirely. Misleading Light preys on players who instinctively follow illumination in dark environments, which is exactly the kind of behavior DOORS veterans have been trained to rely on.

Il Verde's Transformation from Shopkeeper to Killer

Il Verde starts the game as a neutral entity inside Il Viola's Shop. He's harmless at first — just another NPC in a safe zone. That changes when Misleading Light takes control of him against his will. Once possessed, Il Verde becomes relentlessly aggressive and will chase you down. Getting caught means instant death.

The good news is that this encounter plays out as a chase sequence with a defined endpoint. You don't need to fight Il Verde or find a special item. You just need to outrun him and survive until the chase concludes. Keep moving, don't get cornered, and you'll clear this section.

Il Viola — A Friendly Merchant Who Follows You

Il Viola is the shopkeeper NPC found in Il Viola's Shop. He sells various useful items and gear, though the exact inventory hasn't been confirmed yet. He's entirely friendly and poses no threat to players.

After his brother Il Verde goes missing, Il Viola leaves the shop and follows you into the True Lab to search for him. He remains an ally throughout this section and actually provides practical help — his flashlight illuminates dark areas, making navigation easier and potentially helping you spot hazards. Think of him as a companion NPC rather than an entity you need to worry about.

Glitch — The Safety Net from DOORS

Glitch is one of two entities that carry over directly from the original DOORS. In DOORS, Glitch serves a specific mechanical purpose: it rescues players when bugs or unintended issues threaten to break their run. Paradox Doors appears to use Glitch in the same capacity.

In the game's trailer, Glitch addresses the player directly: "Don't worry. We will be here soon. I can show you beyond the veil." Beyond that cryptic line, very little is confirmed about Glitch's role in Paradox. Its location and specific trigger conditions remain unknown. Given its function in DOORS, though, you can expect Glitch to appear only when something goes wrong on the technical side — it's not an enemy, and it's not something you need to prepare for.

Curious Light — Your Death Screen Tutor

Curious Light is the second returning entity from DOORS. It acts as a tutorial guide and post-death advisor, appearing on the death screen to explain what killed you and how to avoid it next time. This feedback is delivered in a lore-friendly way rather than as a dry tooltip.

If the game detects that you're struggling with a particular section, Curious Light goes further. It can highlight the exit door during entity chases and show you the correct path to safety. Essentially, it's a dynamic difficulty assist wrapped in narrative flavor. You'll never need to "survive" Curious Light — it exists purely to help you survive everything else.

How Paradox Doors Connects to DOORS Lore

Paradox and DOORS share the same fictional universe, but they're made by entirely different development teams. Paradox is a fan project with no official ties to the DOORS developers. The lore connection places Paradox in an alternate timeline branching from Floor 2 of DOORS. Where the main DOORS storyline leads to The Castle, Paradox diverges — the player is transported to The Lab instead, which serves as the primary setting.

Two entities bridge both games directly: Glitch and Curious Light. The remaining four — EX-15, Misleading Light, Il Viola, and Il Verde — are original creations specific to Paradox. The developers have hinted at more entities through sneak peeks and community discoveries, so the roster will almost certainly grow after launch. For now, mastering these six is the foundation for surviving whatever Paradox Doors throws at you next.
