Every Garden Horizons Seed Ranked for Maximum Profit

Garden Horizons, the Roblox gardening sim from Dawn Digital, gives you 26 different seeds to grow across three acquisition methods. Picking the right ones at each stage of the game is the difference between scraping together Shillings for your next plot and watching your balance climb into the hundreds of thousands. The rankings below factor in base sell value, harvest type (single vs. multi), rarity, mutation scaling, and long-term profitability.

Quick answer: Cherry, Cabbage, Beetroot, and Dawnblossom sit at the top of the tier list. For most players, Beetroot is the best value-for-money seed until you can afford Legendary crops, thanks to its $3,750 base sell on a $2,500 buy price — and a $11,250 payout at Lush.

Complete Garden Horizons Seeds Tier List

TierSeeds
SCherry, Cabbage, Beetroot, Dawnblossom
ARose, Apple, Amberspine, Sunpetal, Olive, Banana, Plum, Potato, Dawnfruit
BMushroom, Bell Pepper, Goldenberry, Emberwood, Wheat, Birch, Orange
COnion, Strawberry, Dandelion, Tomato
DCorn, Carrot

Two separate tier lists have been circulating in the community with slightly different placements — one puts Olive and Cherry at S tier while slotting Cabbage into A, and another keeps Cabbage firmly in S alongside Beetroot. The disagreement mostly comes down to whether you weigh raw base sell value or mutation scaling potential more heavily. The rankings above lean toward long-term profitability with mutations factored in, which is why Beetroot (a Rare seed with a confirmed $3,750 base sell) earns its S-tier spot despite being cheaper than many Epic seeds.

S Tier — Late-Game Powerhouses

SeedRarityBase SellHarvest TypeShop Price
CherryLegendary$8,000TBC$1,000,000
CabbageLegendary$60,000Single$150,000
BeetrootRare$3,750Single$2,500
DawnblossomLimited Legendary$12,000MultiDawn Seed Pack (1.5%)

Cabbage has the highest confirmed single-harvest base sell in the game at $60,000. At Lush stage, where the 3× multiplier kicks in, a single Cabbage could net you an enormous payout. Cherry costs a staggering $1,000,000 to buy from Bill's Seed Shop, making it a true endgame investment — its exact Lush value hasn't been fully confirmed yet, but the $8,000 base sell and Legendary rarity give it massive mutation scaling potential.

Beetroot punches well above its weight class. It's technically a Rare seed, but the $3,750 base sell on a $2,500 purchase price means you're already profitable before the plant even reaches Lush. At Lush, that jumps to $11,250. No other seed in the Uncommon-to-Rare range comes close to that return on investment.

Dawnblossom is the wild card. It's a Limited Legendary that only drops from the Dawn Seed Pack at a 1.5% rate, but its $12,000 base sell combined with multi-harvest capability makes it arguably the best passive earner in the game if you're lucky enough to pull one.

A Tier — Reliable Mid-to-Late Game Earners

PlumEpic$1,000TBCShop ($60,000)
PotatoEpic$1,500TBCShop ($100,000)
DawnfruitLimited Legendary$600MultiCodes only

Rose stands out here because it's one of the few expensive shop seeds that offers multi-harvest. That $10,000 upfront cost pays itself back gradually over repeated picks rather than requiring you to nail a single Lush harvest. Apple works similarly at a lower buy-in.

The Epic shop seeds — Banana, Plum, and Potato — have high buy prices, but their exact Lush values and harvest types are still being confirmed by the community. They sit in A tier based on their rarity and expected mutation scaling rather than hard-confirmed numbers.

Dawnfruit is the only code-exclusive seed in Garden Horizons. You can grab one by redeeming the code DAWN (which requires joining the Dawn Digital Roblox group first). Its $600 base sell is modest for a Limited Legendary, but the multi-harvest type gives it staying power.

B Tier — Solid Mid-Game Workhorses

SeedRarityBase SellHarvest TypeSource
MushroomUncommon$40MultiShop ($1,500)
Bell PepperLimited Uncommon$50MultiGardener Seed Pack (33%)
GoldenberryLimited Uncommon$65TBCDawn Seed Pack (33%)

WheatEpic$2,700SingleShop ($12,000)
BirchLimited Rare$500TBCGardener Seed Pack (16%)
OrangeLimited Epic$1,800TBCGardener Seed Pack (5.5%)

These seeds keep your farm productive during the mid-game grind but lack the mutation scaling that pushes higher-tier crops into serious profit territory. Mushroom is a popular pick because its multi-harvest nature generates passive income while you wait for more expensive single-harvest plants to ripen. Emberwood and Wheat both have respectable base sells, but they don't scale as aggressively with mutations as the S and A tier options.

C and D Tier — Early Game Only

C Tier includes Onion ($220 base sell), Strawberry ($32), Dandelion ($45), and Tomato (sell value still being confirmed). Onion is actually one of the safest early investments in the game — the $200 buy price returns $220 at base and up to $660 at Lush, making it nearly risk-free. But none of these seeds hold up once you can afford Rare or Epic crops.

D Tier is strictly starter territory. Corn costs $100 from Bill but only sells for $15 per harvest (multi-harvest). Carrot is $20 to buy and sells for $30 (single harvest), reaching $90 at Lush. Both exist to bootstrap your very first few hundred Shillings and should be replaced as quickly as possible.

Where to Get Seeds in Garden Horizons

There are three seed sources. Bill's Seed Shop near the center of the map carries 15 seeds ranging from Common to Legendary. Stock is shared across the entire server and refreshes on a five-minute timer visible at the top of the shop menu. If another player buys the last of a seed before you, you'll need to wait for the next restock cycle.

The Dawn Seed Pack and Gardener Seed Pack each contain five limited seeds at varying drop rates. These packs are earned through daily and weekly quests — you can't buy them from Bill. The Dawn Seed Pack holds Sunpetal (44%), Goldenberry (33%), Amberspine (16%), Emberwood (5.5%), and Dawnblossom (1.5%). The Gardener Seed Pack contains Dandelion (44%), Bell Pepper (33%), Birch (16%), Orange (5.5%), and Olive (1.5%).

The 26th seed, Dawnfruit, drops exclusively from promotional codes.

Single Harvest vs. Multi Harvest

Single-harvest seeds get pulled from the ground when you pick them. You get one payout per seed, but that payout is significantly larger — especially at Lush, where the 3× multiplier applies. These reward active players who can monitor growth timers and harvest at the right moment.

Multi-harvest seeds stay planted after each pick and regrow for another round. Per-harvest values are lower, but the plant keeps producing indefinitely. They're better for passive income or for filling empty plots while your expensive single-harvest crops mature.

The strongest farming strategy combines both types. Plant multi-harvest seeds like Rose or Mushroom for a steady Shilling trickle, then dedicate your best plots to high-value single-harvest seeds like Beetroot or Cabbage and wait for them to hit Lush before selling.

Lush Stage and the 3× Multiplier

Every plant in Garden Horizons goes through growth stages, and the final stage — Lush — applies a 3× multiplier to the base sell price. For single-harvest plants especially, selling before Lush means leaving two-thirds of your potential Shillings on the table. A Beetroot sold at base nets $3,750, but at Lush it's worth $11,250. An Onion goes from $220 to $660.

You can track growth progress via the timer displayed above each crop. If you're worried about accidentally harvesting a valuable plant too early, pick up the Favorite Tool from Molly's Gear Shop to lock your rarest plants and prevent premature picks.

Progression Roadmap by Shilling Budget

If you're just starting out with fewer than 10,000 Shillings, stick with Carrot seeds at $20 each. They grow fast, sell for $90 at Lush, and let you cycle capital quickly. Once you've built a small buffer, start buying Onion seeds for their nearly risk-free returns.

Between roughly 10,000 and 100,000 Shillings, Beetroot becomes your primary money-maker. At $2,500 per seed with an $11,250 Lush sell, nothing else in this price range competes. Mix in Rose seeds for multi-harvest passive income alongside your Beetroot plots.

Once you're above 100,000 Shillings, start targeting Epic seeds like Wheat, Banana, Plum, and Potato, and save toward the Legendary tier. Pairing expensive seeds with active weather events for mutations is where the real profit multipliers start stacking. Cabbage at $150,000 and Cherry at $1,000,000 represent the endgame ceiling — expensive to buy, but their sell values with mutations and Lush bonuses can generate returns that dwarf everything else in the game.

Garden Horizons is still in its early days, and several Epic and Legendary seed values remain unconfirmed. As the game receives updates and the community locks down more exact numbers, these rankings may shift — but the core strategy of prioritizing Lush harvests, mixing harvest types, and climbing the rarity ladder as your budget allows will remain the fastest path to a thriving garden.
