Every Sailor Piece Race Ranked — What to Reroll For and What to Skip

Sailor Piece on Roblox gives you a race at the start that shapes your entire build. Races provide passive stat bonuses — HP, damage, lifesteal, damage reduction, and sometimes weapon-specific multipliers — that stack with your Sword, Melee Spec, Trait, and Accessory choices. Not all races are created equal, though. Some are genuinely meta-defining, while others offer almost nothing once you leave the early game. Here's where every race lands as of late February 2026.

Quick answer: Slime, Servant, and Kitsune are the three strongest races in Sailor Piece right now. Slime is best for Sword builds, Servant dominates Melee builds, and Kitsune is the top pick for farming thanks to its unique luck multiplier.

S Tier — The Meta Races

These four Mythic-rarity races sit at the top because they combine massive HP pools, high flat damage bonuses, and valuable secondary stats like lifesteal or damage reduction. They work well in virtually every build and don't require a specific weapon to justify their slot.

RaceRarityKey Stat Bonuses
ServantMythic+75% Max HP, +67% Damage, +17% Melee Damage Multiplier, +4% Lifesteal, +10% Damage Reduction
SlimeMythic+70% Max HP, +65% Damage, +17% Sword Damage Multiplier, +3% Lifesteal, +10% Damage Reduction
LeviathanMythic+65% Max HP, +60% Damage, +17% Sword Damage Multiplier, +5% Lifesteal
KitsuneMythic+60% Max HP, +50% Damage, +25% Luck, +10% Sword Damage, +10% Melee Damage

Servant edges out Slime on raw numbers — it has the highest HP bonus in the game at 75% and the highest flat damage at 67%, plus slightly better lifesteal. The trade-off is that Servant's weapon multiplier targets Melee, while Slime's targets Swords. Pick whichever matches your primary damage source.

Leviathan is a strong third option. It lacks damage reduction but compensates with the highest lifesteal among S-tier races at 5%, making it excellent for sustained fights against bosses. Kitsune stands apart because of its 25% Luck multiplier, which directly improves rare drop rates. If you're grinding for boss accessories or Race Rerolls, Kitsune is hard to beat despite its slightly lower combat numbers.

A Tier — Strong but Build-Dependent

A-tier races deliver solid stat boosts but typically lock a portion of their power behind a specific weapon or Melee Spec. If you happen to run the matching weapon, some of these rival S tier. Without it, they fall short of the top four.

RaceRarityKey Stat Bonuses
OniMythic+65% Max HP, +55% Damage, +20% Melee Damage Multiplier, +10% Damage Reduction
HollowLegendary+60% Max HP, +50% Damage, +20% Ichigo (Sword) Damage
ShadowbornLegendary+55% Max HP, +50% Damage, +20% Shadow (Sword) Damage
ShinigamiLegendary+50% Max HP, +45% Damage, +20% Aizen (Sword) Damage
PlayerLegendary+45% Max HP, +40% Damage, +20% Jinwoo (Sword) Damage
VesselLegendary+40% Max HP, +35% Damage, +20% Sukuna (Melee) Damage

Oni is the standout here. It's Mythic rarity with a melee-focused kit that includes both a 20% Melee Damage Multiplier and 10% Damage Reduction, making it a natural tank. The downside is that it offers nothing for Sword users, so it's less flexible than the S-tier options.

Hollow, Shadowborn, Shinigami, Player, and Vessel all follow the same design pattern: decent HP and flat damage, plus a 20% bonus tied to one specific weapon. Hollow pairs with Ichigo, Shadowborn with Shadow, Shinigami with Aizen, Player with Jinwoo, and Vessel with Sukuna. If you're committed to one of those weapons or Melee Specs long-term, the corresponding race is a strong pick. Otherwise, you're leaving that 20% bonus on the table.

Note: Player is worth special attention if you use the Jinwoo Sword, which is widely considered one of the strongest weapons in the game. In that specific pairing, Player can compete with S-tier races on effective DPS output.

B Tier — Decent Transitional Picks

RaceRarityKey Stat Bonuses
LimitlessLegendary+40% Max HP, +30% Damage, +25% Gojo (Melee) Damage
VampireEpic+30% Max HP, +25% Damage, +5% Lifesteal
DemonEpic+35% Max HP, +30% Damage, +20% Sprint Speed

Limitless follows the same weapon-locked formula as the A-tier Legendary races but with lower base stats, pushing it down a notch. It's only worthwhile if you're running a Gojo Melee build.

Vampire and Demon are both Epic rarity, making them far easier to roll than anything above. Vampire's 5% lifesteal gives it surprising staying power in longer boss fights, while Demon's sprint speed bonus helps with repositioning and general map traversal. Both are perfectly fine to use while you farm for a Mythic replacement.

C Tier — Limited Utility

RaceRarityKey Stat Bonuses
OrcRare+15% Max HP, +15% Damage
FishmanUncommon+15% Money Gain, +15% Experience Gain
MinkRare+20% Jump Height, +20% Sprint Speed
SkypeaUncommon+2 Extra Jumps

Orc provides a small, straightforward boost to HP and damage. It's functional in the very early game but gets outclassed quickly once you can afford rerolls. Fishman is the only race that directly speeds up leveling and money farming through its 15% EXP and money gain bonuses. It has zero combat value, but new players who want to accelerate their early progression can get some mileage out of it before switching.

Mink and Skypea offer only movement bonuses — sprint speed, jump height, or extra jumps. None of these translate into combat stats, which makes them poor choices for any build focused on grinding or boss fights.

How Race Rerolls Work

You change your race by using Race Reroll items, which drop from most enemies in Sailor Piece. Boss enemies have significantly higher drop rates for these items, so farming bosses is the most efficient path to rerolling. Each reroll randomly assigns a new race based on the following rarity distribution:

  • Common — 50% chance
  • Uncommon — 30% chance
  • Rare — 15% chance
  • Epic — 4% chance
  • Legendary — 1% chance

Mythic rarity is not listed in the standard reroll table, which means races like Slime, Servant, Leviathan, Kitsune, and Oni are exceptionally rare pulls. Expect to burn through a large number of rerolls before landing one. Races also come with cosmetic changes to your Roblox avatar, which is a nice bonus but shouldn't factor into your decision.

Best Race and Trait Combo

Races don't exist in a vacuum — they pair with Traits, which provide separate Defense, Damage, and Cooldown Reduction multipliers. The strongest Trait in the game right now is Singularity (1.75x Defense, 2.10x Damage, 30% Cooldown Reduction), followed closely by Cataclysm and Overlord. Pairing Singularity with Slime, Servant, or Kitsune produces the highest overall stat ceiling for both grinding and boss content.

For farming specifically, Kitsune plus a Fortune Rune (which adds 10–15% Luck) stacks luck bonuses in a way no other combination can match, making rare drops noticeably more frequent over long sessions.

Race selection in Sailor Piece is ultimately about matching your passive bonuses to your weapon choice and play style. If you're running Swords, Slime is the clear winner. Melee players should aim for Servant. And if you're still in the grinding phase and want better drops, Kitsune's luck bonus is unmatched. Everything below Mythic rarity works as a stepping stone — functional, but worth replacing the moment you roll something better.
