Every Sailor Piece Title, Its Buff, and How to Get It

Every Sailor Piece Title, Its Buff, and How to Get It

Titles in Sailor Piece are permanent passive buffs you can equip to boost damage, luck, XP gain, money, or gems. Only one Title can be active at a time, and they cannot be traded between players. Choosing the right one for your build or farming goal matters — a damage Title and a luck Title serve very different purposes.

Quick answer: For raw damage, equip King of Shadows (+62.5% Damage) from the Shadow Monarch Boss. For farming currency and XP, use Golden Tyrant (+35% XP, +55% Money, +40% Gems). For maximizing boss-drop luck, grind toward Destiny Marked (+40% Luck), which requires 2,500 boss kills.

Early-Game Titles (Level-Up Rewards)

Four Titles unlock automatically as you level up. They provide modest boosts to money and gem income and are the only Titles new players will have access to before they start farming bosses or collecting drops.

Apprentice+10% Money, +5% GemsLevel up
Warrior+10% XP, +15% Money, +10% GemsLevel up
Champion+15% XP, +20% Money, +15% GemsLevel up

Item-Drop Titles (Collector → Golden Tyrant)

These four Titles track the total number of item drops you've received. Money, XP, and Gems do not count toward the total — only materials like Wood, Iron, Hearts, and similar loot qualify. Golden Tyrant sits at the top of this chain and is the single best Title for currency and XP farming.

Boss-Kill Luck Titles

Killing bosses — both Mob Bosses and World Bosses — fills a cumulative counter that unlocks progressively stronger luck Titles. Luck directly improves your odds of receiving rare drops from bosses, making these Titles essential for anyone target-farming specific weapons or accessories.

Lucky Novice+10% Luck10

Blessed One+20% Luck250
The Chosen One+25% Luck500
Blessed Sovereign+32.5% Luck1,250
Destiny Marked+40% Luck2,500
Tip: If you're grinding for a specific boss-drop Title or weapon, swap to your highest luck Title before the kill. You can always switch back to a damage Title for general play afterward.

Boss-Drop Damage Titles

The largest category of Titles comes from World Boss drops. Each boss has a specific Title in its loot table with a fixed drop chance and a pity system — once you hit the pity threshold without getting the Title, the next kill guarantees it. Drop rates vary by boss difficulty setting for late-game bosses. The table below is sorted roughly by damage buff from lowest to highest.

Both Demon King and King of Shadows drop from the Shadow Monarch Boss, with rates that shift depending on the difficulty you select. King of Shadows currently offers the highest flat damage buff of any Title in the game.

Seasonal and Event Titles

Two Titles come from limited-time event questlines rather than boss drops or kill counters. They offer a hybrid of XP and damage buffs, making them unusually versatile.

TitleBuffsHow to Unlock
Santa's Helper+15% XP, +15% DamageComplete all three quests from the Santa's Quest NPC at Christmas Island (currently unobtainable outside the seasonal window)
Cupid's Chosen+20% XP, +20% DamageComplete all quests from the Cupid NPC at Valentine Island

Santa's Helper is marked as unobtainable outside its seasonal event. Cupid's Chosen requires killing 350 NPCs, playing for 30 minutes, and finding 3 Love Pieces on Valentine's Island.

How to Equip and Change Titles

There are two ways to manage your active Title.

Step 1: Open your Inventory and navigate to the Titles tab. Every Title you've unlocked will show an Equip button and a Display toggle. Pressing Equip activates the buff; toggling Display shows the Title above your character.

Step 2 (alternative): Travel to Sailor Island and enter the building that houses the Gem Fruit Dealer, Traits NPC, and Stat Reroll NPC. The Titles NPC is inside the same room. Talk to him to open the Titles menu and equip or swap your active Title.

You can switch Titles freely at any time, but only one can be active. Swapping is instant — there is no cooldown or cost.

Which Title Should You Prioritize?

The "best" Title depends entirely on what you're doing at any given moment. For general combat and boss fights, damage Titles outperform everything else, and King of Shadows (+62.5%) is the current ceiling. If you're farming mobs for money, gems, and experience, Golden Tyrant's triple resource boost is unmatched. And when you're specifically hunting rare boss drops, equipping your highest luck Title before the killing blow gives you the best odds.

Because swapping is free and instant, there's no reason to commit to a single Title permanently. Build a collection and rotate based on what you need in the moment. The grind for Destiny Marked (2,500 boss kills) and King of Shadows (sub-1% drop rate) is long, but every intermediate Title you pick up along the way is immediately useful.
