Fairy Tail RE race tier list (Roblox) — best races ranked and how rerolls work

Races in Fairy Tail RE aren’t just cosmetic. Each one comes with base stats and, in some cases, powerful passives or an active mode that can shape your entire build. The three Slayer races define the meta with huge damage modifiers and sustain, while lower-rarity picks can still carry you early if you play to their strengths.

Why the Slayers are S-tier

All three Slayers share the same backbone: a flat +50% magic damage modifier on your abilities and built-in sustain when interacting with their magic type. That means you’re scaling both damage and uptime as fights drag on. God Slayer stretches the lead further with better Mana regen on hit, damage reduction, and the ability to apply status effects to everyone while ignoring its own — the most complete toolset.

Dragon Slayer trades some mana for more Vitality, making it the tankiest baseline in the trio. Devil Slayer leans into a skill ceiling with Demonization Mode: if you win neutral and extend fights, you’re rewarded with escalating Speed, Strength, and sustained resource gains. In the right hands, that mode feels oppressive.

A- and B-tier races still win games

  • Demon (A): A clean, low-friction statline — +20 Speed for gap closing and +10 Vitality to avoid getting deleted — that works across builds. If you’re saving rolls for a Slayer, this is a perfectly viable stopgap.
  • Weretiger (B): Pure mobility turns neutral in your favor, especially for hit-and-run play. You’ll need disciplined disengages; you don’t get the tankiness to bail you out if someone pins you down.
  • Lizardman (B): Extra HP buys time to learn matchups and navigate early progression. Veterans will usually prefer Speed for tempo, but the reliability here is hard to ignore when you’re gearing up.
  • Human (C): The base kit is fine for learning inputs. Once you’re queuing into geared opponents, the lack of a defining perk becomes painfully obvious. Reroll when you can.

How to reroll your race (and what to expect)

  • Finish the tutorial, then press M to open the main menu.
  • Go to the Race Reroll section.
  • Spend one Race Spin to reroll. Spins come from in-game codes, the Wizard Pass, or by purchasing with Robux.
Note: rerolling replaces your current race immediately. If you’re sitting on a strong race (Demon, or even a solid Rare) and you’re fishing for a Slayer, bank multiple Spins before you roll so you don’t strand yourself.

Build notes and practical picks

  • Chasing power spikes: If your goal is late-game PvP, target any of the three Slayers. God Slayer is the safest universal pick; Dragon Slayer is the sturdy alternative; Devil Slayer shines if you can reliably extend Demonization Mode.
  • Mobility-first play: Weretiger paired with Speed-heavy choices elsewhere can produce slippery, high-tempo loadouts. If you want speed without giving up too much bulk, Demon’s +10 Vitality makes it more forgiving.
  • Learning and leveling: Lizardman’s +10 Vitality is underrated for new players. Surviving one extra combo often matters more than moving a little faster while you’re still mastering i-frames and spacing.
  • Status interactions: Only God Slayer can apply status effects across all races without being gated by opposing passives, and it ignores its own. That’s a quiet edge in many duels.

If you’re starting fresh, roll until you land on Demon, Weretiger, or Lizardman, then play into that identity while you save for a Slayer hunt. Once you’ve gotten comfortable with your magic and movement, aim for God, Dragon, or Devil — they’re strong now and scale with you as you improve.
