Farming Power Shards in Sailor Piece — Best Locations and Usage

Sailor Piece's Moon Update introduced the Power system, a late-game trait mechanic that layers passive stat bonuses — damage, HP, critical chance, critical damage, and luck — across your entire build. The currency that drives it is the Power Shard, a legendary drop you'll need in bulk to reroll traits at the Power Master NPC. Collecting them is straightforward in theory but demands efficient farming in practice.

Quick answer: Power Shards drop from any NPC mob in Sailor Piece. Farm Lawless Island or Ninja Island mobs with a Luck build and low-cooldown abilities for the fastest results, then spend shards at the Power Master NPC on Lawless Island to reroll Power traits.

Where Power Shards Drop

Every regular NPC enemy in Sailor Piece has a chance to drop a Power Shard when defeated. The drop is not tied to a specific island, boss, or quest — any mob on any island can yield one. That said, the drop rate is noticeably lower than other shard types, so volume matters. Higher-level NPCs appear to offer slightly better odds, which is why the two standout farming spots are Lawless Island and Ninja Island. Both locations pack dense groups of high-level mobs that respawn quickly.

Speed trumps difficulty here. Killing ten weaker mobs in two minutes generates far more drop opportunities than spending that same time on a single tough enemy. Prioritize zones where you can wipe groups without downtime rather than chasing the highest-level mob you can barely handle.

Efficient Power Shard Farming Tips

A Luck-focused build is the single biggest lever you can pull. Because regular NPCs are far squishier than bosses, you don't need a pure damage setup — stacking Luck improves drop rates without meaningfully slowing your clear speed. Before you start grinding, reroll your traits, race, and clan to maximize Luck where possible.

Ability cooldowns matter more than raw burst damage for mob farming. Pick fighting styles and skills that come off cooldown fast so you always have something ready when the next wave spawns. Area-of-effect abilities are especially valuable because they let you hit multiple enemies per cast, compressing clear times significantly.

💡
Power Shards are not used for ascension. They exist solely for the Power system's trait rerolls, so don't hold onto them waiting for another use — spend them as you earn them.

Unlocking the Power System

Before you can spend Power Shards, you need to unlock the Power system itself. Two requirements must be met: reach experience level 11,500 and accumulate 5,500 Gems. Once both conditions are satisfied, travel to Lawless Island and find the Power Master NPC (located opposite the Arena Fighters NPCs). Interact with the NPC and confirm by selecting "Yes" in the prompt that appears at the top of your screen.

After unlocking, the Power Master NPC becomes your permanent reroll station. Every subsequent visit lets you spend Power Shards to roll for a new Power trait.

How to Spend Power Shards on Rerolls

Step 1: Head to Lawless Island and interact with the Power Master NPC.

Step 2: Select the Reroll button. Each reroll consumes Power Shards and assigns a random Power trait from the pool of 17.

Step 3: Use the Filters option to exclude rarities you don't want. During Auto Rerolls, the system will skip filtered rarities automatically, saving shards over time.

You'll know a reroll worked when the Power banner updates with your new trait name, rarity, and stat ranges. If you land on a Common or Uncommon trait, keep rolling — the real gains sit at Legendary and Mythical.

Power Trait Rarity Drop Rates

RarityChance per Reroll
Common50%
Uncommon28.75%
Rare15%
Epic5%
Legendary1%
Mythical0.2%

Half of all rerolls will land on Common traits, so expect to burn through a significant stack of Power Shards before hitting anything above Epic. Filters help by letting you auto-skip unwanted tiers, but the odds remain steep for the top two rarities.

Best Power Traits Worth Targeting

The two Mythical traits — Cursebrand and Colossus — sit at the top of the hierarchy for different reasons. Cursebrand applies a debuff that causes enemies to take 10–15% increased damage after you hit them, stackable with up to two players. Colossus leans into boss content with a passive that deals 15–25% extra damage to bosses, plus a hefty 7.5–15% Luck bonus on top of its raw stat boosts.

TraitRarityKey StatsPassive
CursebrandMythical18–30% DMG, 15–30% HP, 2–4% Crit Chance, 6–12% Crit DMGEnemies take 10–15% more DMG after hit (2-player stack max)
ColossusMythical20–34% DMG, 20–35% HP, 1.5–3% Crit Chance, 5–10% Crit DMG, 7.5–15% Luck15–25% more DMG to bosses
AbyssalLegendary14–24% DMG, 10–20% HP, 1–3% Crit Chance, 4–8% Crit DMGNone
EternalLegendary13–22% DMG, 14–28% HP, 1–3% Crit Chance, 5–10% Crit DMGNone
ApexLegendary10–20% DMG, 10–20% HP, 0.5–1.5% Crit Chance, 5–12.5% LuckNone

If Mythical feels unrealistic at a 0.2% rate, Legendary traits like Abyssal and Eternal still deliver strong, well-rounded stat boosts that meaningfully improve any build. Apex is worth considering if you want to double down on Luck for further farming efficiency.

Power Shards are easier to obtain than other legendary materials like the Upper Seal or Abyss Sigil, but the sheer number you'll need for repeated rerolls means farming sessions can stretch long. Stick to Lawless Island or Ninja Island, keep your Luck high, cycle through mobs with fast-cooldown AoE abilities, and spend shards at the Power Master NPC until you land a trait worth keeping.
