Farming Void Fragments in Sailor Piece — Drop Rates, Uses, and Requirements

The Void Fragment is an Epic-rarity item in Sailor Piece that sits at the center of mid-game progression. It resembles a dark crystal with a purple glow at its core, and without a total of 11 of them, you cannot complete the Second Ascension or learn the Gojo (Limitless Sorcerer) Fighting Style. The only boss that drops it is the Gojo Boss on Shibuya Station island, so expect to spend some serious time on that particular stretch of road.

Quick answer: Defeat the Gojo Boss at Shibuya Station. He has a 20% chance to drop a Void Fragment each time he dies, provided you deal at least 10% of his total HP in damage.

Gojo Boss Location and Spawn Timer

The Gojo Boss spawns automatically at the back end of Shibuya Station island — you'll find him on the road near the Panda boss. There is no summoning ritual or quest prerequisite; he appears on a fixed timer. Spawn estimates vary slightly, with some players reporting roughly every five minutes and others clocking it closer to seven minutes and thirty seconds. The discrepancy may come down to server-side variation, so plan for a wait of around five to eight minutes between kills.

To reach Shibuya Station, use the nearest portal on your home island and teleport directly there. Head toward the far end of the island and wait for the boss to appear.

Drop Conditions and Rate

Simply being present when the Gojo Boss dies is not enough. You must contribute at least 10% of the total damage dealt to the boss during the fight. A damage tracker appears beneath the boss's HP bar so you can monitor your contribution in real time. If you meet that 10% threshold, you qualify for drops even if you die before the boss goes down — as long as other players finish the kill, your loot still rolls.

Each successful kill gives you a roughly 20% chance of receiving a single Void Fragment. The boss never drops more than one fragment per defeat. Luck and Drop Rate boosts from your Race, Clan, or equipped Title can nudge that probability upward, so stacking those bonuses is worth the effort.

⚠️
You will not receive any drops if your damage contribution falls below 10% of the boss's total HP. Always check the damage tracker under the health bar before disengaging.

Efficient Farming Tips

Server hop after each kill. Once you defeat the Gojo Boss and collect (or miss) your drop, jumping to a new server resets the spawn timer from your perspective. This is the single fastest way to increase your kills per hour rather than standing idle for several minutes between spawns.

Equip luck-boosting Titles. Titles like Fortune Seeker, Blessed One, and Chosen One raise your effective Luck stat, which can improve drop rates. Pair these with a Clan or Race that offers additional Drop Rate bonuses for the best results.

Maximize your damage output. The faster you burn through the boss's HP, the more runs you can squeeze into a session. Invest in your skill tree, equip strong swords or devil fruits, and use accessories, traits, and runes that buff raw damage. AoE-heavy loadouts work particularly well since the Gojo Boss fight can attract multiple players competing for the damage threshold.

Trading is an alternative. Void Fragments can be exchanged with other players through the in-game trading system. Because they sit at Epic rarity rather than Legendary or Mythic, the trade value is moderate — you won't need to give up your rarest items to acquire them. Still, verify the trade window carefully before confirming any exchange.

All Void Fragment Uses

Void Fragments feed into exactly two progression milestones. Once both are complete, the fragments have no further mechanical use, though you can hold extras for trading.

UseVoid Fragments NeededOther Key Requirements
Ascension 25Level 5000, 400 NPC kills, 25 boss kills, 50M total damage, 150 ability uses, 2× Limitless Rings
Gojo Fighting Style63× Limitless Rings, 1× Infinity Core, 750k Cash, 4,000 Gems, plus a three-quest chain

Combined, you need 11 Void Fragments for full progression.

Ascension 2 Requirements Breakdown

The Second Ascension is handled by a Killua-dressed NPC standing near the gate at the entrance of Sailor Island. Beyond the five Void Fragments, you must hit every requirement in the table above simultaneously — there is no partial credit. Ascensions grant permanent buffs to money gain, gem gain, and Luck, making them one of the most impactful long-term upgrades in the game.

Gojo Fighting Style Questline

Before the Gojo Trainer NPC on Shibuya Station will accept your materials, you need to finish a three-part questline.

Step 1: Kill 350 mobs. Any standard mob counts toward this total.

Step 2: Use any ability 350 times. Note that Light F, Gojo C, and Sukuna C abilities do not count toward this quest, so plan your ability spam accordingly.

Step 3: Kill the Gojo Boss 15 times. Since you're already farming Void Fragments from this boss, most of these kills will happen naturally during your grind.

After completing all three quests, turn in 6 Void Fragments, 3 Limitless Rings, 1 Infinity Core, 750,000 Cash, and 4,000 Gems to the Gojo Trainer to learn the fighting style. The Limitless Rings (8% drop rate) and Infinity Core (3% drop rate) also come from the Gojo Boss, so by the time you accumulate 11 Void Fragments, you'll likely have the other materials as well.

💡
The Gojo Fighting Style is a solid option for early- and mid-game players, but it gets outpaced by stronger melee options in the late game. If you're short on fragments, prioritize Ascension 2 first for its permanent stat buffs.

How to Confirm You Got the Drop

When the Gojo Boss dies, and you qualify for loot, any dropped items appear in your inventory immediately. You'll see a notification on screen listing what you received. If no Void Fragment appears, the 20% roll simply didn't land — rejoin or server hop and try again. There is no daily cap on how many fragments you can earn, so persistence is the only real barrier.

With a 20% drop rate and a need for 11 total fragments, expect somewhere around 55 boss kills on average before you're done — though Luck boosts can shorten that grind. Stack your damage, hop servers aggressively, and keep an eye on that 10% damage threshold. The Void Fragment farm is straightforward, just repetitive, and the payoff in permanent Ascension buffs and a new fighting style makes it one of the more rewarding mid-game loops in Sailor Piece.
