Fisch Witch quest — how to unlock the Spooky Rod (FischFright 2025)
RobloxCollect goblin ingredients, feed the cauldron at Crook’s Hallow, and claim a Stage 4 rod with event mutations.
The Spooky Rod is a limited, Stage 4 fishing rod tied to the Witch’s repeatable questline during FischFright 2025. You earn it by retrieving stolen ingredients from roaming goblins and depositing them into the Witch’s cauldron on Crook’s Hallow. Ten deposits unlock the rod; further turn-ins continue to award cosmetics, relics, and even boats.
Start at Crook’s Hallow: meet the Witch and find the cauldron
Head to Crook’s Hallow and look for the Witch’s cauldron in the center of the island. This is the only place you can deposit Witch’s Ingredients and claim milestone rewards. The quest repeats indefinitely, so you can work through multiple thresholds beyond the Spooky Rod for additional items.

Find goblins and collect Witch’s Ingredients
Goblins spawn on named islands and broadcast a server-wide alert when they appear:
“A goblin has spawned somewhere on an Island. Make your way to the Island to retrieve the Witches’ Ingredient!”
When the alert pops, sail to the called-out island. After you land, a blue highlight marks the goblin’s exact position. Interact, complete its short task, and you’ll receive a Witch’s Ingredient. Tasks are quick and random — e.g., jump a set number of times, type a name in chat, or dance. To dance, type:
emote dance
Notes:
- Ingredients are not tradable, but you can carry multiples.
- Goblins spawn on a timer with a server-wide notification; timing can vary by server population and activity.
Deposit at the cauldron (hold R) to hit reward milestones
Return to the cauldron on Crook’s Hallow, equip a Witch’s Ingredient, then hold R to deposit it. Each deposit counts toward your total. At 10 total deposits, you receive the Spooky Rod. You can keep going for higher-tier rewards.

Spooky Rod stats and what they mean in play
| Lure Speed | 75% |
| Luck | 66% |
| Control | 0.2 |
| Resilience | -10% |
| Max Kg | 150,000 kg |
Raw numbers aside, the Spooky Rod is built around strong passives that accelerate catches and unlock event-only mutations:
- 10% chance to apply one of three mutations — Frightful (6x), Spooky (6x), or Eerie (6x) — on hook.
- Every second during a fight, a 50% chance to add +4% progress and freeze the fish for one second.
- A constant +5% progress speed bonus.
Those mutation effects remain available through the rod even after the event ends, giving it niche value beyond its limited-time debut.

Recommended enchants for the Spooky Rod

- Lucky: +20% Luck, +15% Lure Speed, +40% chance for Mutation
Practical tips to finish faster
- Don’t island-hop blindly. Wait for the server notification, then sail straight to the named island.
- After landfall, head to the blue-highlighted goblin to avoid searching the entire biome.
- Keep a few inventory slots free so you can chain multiple goblin runs before returning to the cauldron.
- At the cauldron, equip each ingredient and hold
Rfor every deposit; partial inputs don’t count.
The loop is simple: follow the goblin alert, complete a quick task for an ingredient, feed the cauldron, and repeat until you hit 10 deposits. You’ll walk away with the Spooky Rod’s mutation triggers and faster progress gains — a reliable event grind tool that still has use once the festivities end.
