FischFright brings a dedicated Halloween island, Crook’s Hallow, and a new currency: Candy. You start at zero, and your total sits on the bottom right of the screen once you arrive. If you haven’t jumped in yet, launch the event from the Fisch listing on Roblox: play Fisch on Roblox.

There are four reliable ways to build Candy quickly on Crook’s Hallow: trick-or-treating, high-yield NPC quests, the witch’s ingredient runs, and Frightful crates. The strongest payouts come from NPC quests; doors and crates are low-friction fillers you can run between bigger turn-ins.

Get to Crook’s Hallow and check your Candy

Travel to Crook’s Hallow by speaking to the Flying Dutchman NPC on the green ghost ship near Moosewood, or use the Frightful Mirror from your backpack to warp straight in. Your Candy counter appears on the HUD; everyone begins the event at 0.

Farm Candy: trick-or-treat doors (repeatable, low effort)

Equip the Candy Bucket from your backpack (G opens the backpack), walk up to numbered house doors around the island, and press E to knock. An NPC answers with a trick-or-treat prompt, and you receive Candy either way. Door runs are simple and can be repeated across the island; they’re a steady way to keep Candy coming in while you hunt for quest items. You’ll occasionally pull limited-time fish during these visits.

Tip: You must be holding the Candy Bucket before you press E, or the door won’t pay out.

Farm Candy: NPC quests on Crook’s Hallow (highest payouts)

Speak to unique event NPCs (not the “Fisch Fright Fan” bystanders) for item requests. Some turn-ins must be appraised to “Shiny” or “Sparkling” before they count. These quests deliver the largest single chunks of Candy and are the most time-efficient path to big purchases.

Farm Candy: submit ingredients to the witch’s cauldron

Beatrix the witch stands in front of her cauldron near the Crook’s Hallow spawn. A goblin periodically appears somewhere in the main world islands (such as Mushgrove Island or Forsaken Shores) carrying her stolen brew ingredients. Watch for the on-screen notification, travel to the marked island, complete the small challenge, and bring the ingredient back to the cauldron for Candy.

This loop takes you off the event island but pays reliably and dovetails well with door runs while you wait for goblin spawns.

Farm Candy: reel in Frightful crates

While fishing around Crook’s Hallow, you’ll encounter Frightful crates. Open them for small amounts of Candy and a chance at fish from the FischFright bestiary. Crates aren’t a replacement for quests, but they’re free value while you’re already on the water.

Spend Candy: Flying Dutchman shop rotation

The Flying Dutchman periodically moors near Crook’s Hallow with a short rotating stock. Each appearance offers three items drawn from the event pool. Expect options like Lolipop, Frightful Relic, Eerie Relic, Spooky Relic, Scylla Mask, Frightful Pool Totem, Megalodon Mask, Red/Purple/Orange Frightful Skull, Bat Whisperer Rod, and Dusekkar Rod.

  • Prioritize big-ticket rods or relics when they appear; the inventory changes on each spawn.
  • Bank a buffer of Candy so you can buy immediately when the ship arrives.

What actually moves the needle

If you’re short on time, focus on NPC quests first. Silas’ Skeletal Nessie is the standout at 1500 Candy, and several others land 550–1000. Use trick-or-treat doors as steady filler between turn-ins, scoop crates while you fish, and slot in witch runs when the goblin announcement hits.

Note: Doors can be revisited, so you can loop neighborhoods repeatedly. Candy is an event currency and typically doesn’t persist beyond FischFright.

With a handful of high-yield turn-ins and regular door loops, you’ll stockpile Candy fast enough to catch the Flying Dutchman’s best rotations without missing a spawn.
