Get Diamonds Fast in 99 Nights in the Forest — All Reliable Methods

Diamonds are the game’s core currency for unlocking Classes in the lobby and rolling talents. If you want steady progress without wasting time, focus on the repeatable sources first, then sweep up the one-time rewards.

Diamonds overview (what they’re for and where they come from)

Diamonds buy new Classes and let you purchase or roll talents on those Classes. You can get diamonds from chests in the world, completing the Cultist Stronghold, survival milestones, badges, special event lobbies, redeemable codes, and the in-lobby Currency Shop.

Farm diamonds quickly with Cultist Stronghold runs

The Stronghold is the most consistent repeatable farm because its Diamond Chest grants a fixed payout each clear.

Step 1: Enter a server and head to the Cultist Stronghold. Your goal is to clear it efficiently rather than pushing long survival runs.

Step 2: Clear the Stronghold, then open the Diamond Chest reward to collect 5 diamonds. This payout is fixed per clear.

Step 3: Leave the server after looting and rejoin a fresh one to reset the Stronghold. Looping this cycle yields about 15 diamonds per hour, or around 30 during x2 weekends.

Step 4: Use damage-heavy or mobile classes for speed. Brawler and Alien are commonly preferred for quick, low-fuss clears.

Scavenge chests that can contain a single diamond

Some chest types can drop one diamond. If you’re roaming the map, prioritize these when you spot them.

Step 1: Open eligible chest types whenever you find them. Diamond drops are single-count, so volume and frequency matter.

Step 2: Focus on these chest types: Common, Good, Iron, Ice, Cold, Gold, and Legendary. Expect one diamond at most per chest when it drops.

  • Common chest.
  • Good chest.
  • Iron chest.
  • Ice chest.
  • Cold chest.
  • Gold chest.
  • Legendary chest.

Hit survival milestones for guaranteed diamonds

Two mid-to-late run day thresholds grant diamonds automatically when passed.

Step 1: Plan a survival run that safely reaches day 50. Passing day 50 awards 2 diamonds.

Step 2: Extend that run to day 99 if you can. Passing 99 days awards 3 diamonds.

Milestone Diamonds
Pass Day 50 2
Pass Day 99 3

Complete badges for one-time diamond payouts

Badges pay out diamonds equal to their star rating. These rewards are one-time only, so they’re best treated as a finite stash to cash in.

Step 1: Identify badges that match your current gear and skill. Start with easier survival, crafting, or progression tasks to build momentum.

Step 2: Finish a badge’s requirements, then claim the diamond reward. The payout equals the badge’s star rating.

Step 3: Save tougher challenge badges for when you have stronger Classes and talents, since these are non-renewable rewards.

Join Update Party events (time-limited)

Before updates, a special lobby opens where diamonds are spawned for players by admins.

Step 1: Enter the Update Party match in the hour before an update goes live. Timing matters; outside this window, the lobby won’t be available.

Step 2: Collect diamonds spawned during the session. Only admin-spawned diamonds appear here; chests will not contain diamonds.

Step 3: Treat this as a bonus source. Badges can’t be earned in this mode, so focus on picking up the spawned diamonds efficiently.

Redeem codes in the Currency Shop

Developers periodically issue redeemable codes that grant rewards, including diamonds.

Step 1: Open the Currency Shop in the lobby and select the “Codes” button at the bottom right.

Step 2: Enter any active code exactly as provided and confirm to claim the reward. Codes are time-limited, so check them frequently.

Buy diamonds with Robux (optional)

If you want an instant boost, the lobby’s Currency Shop offers fixed-price diamond bundles.

Bundle Diamonds Price (Robux)
Small 20 99
Medium 100 400
Large 250 900
XL 700 2500

Step 1: Open the Currency Shop in the lobby and choose a bundle that fits your goal (new Class or talent rolls).

Step 2: Confirm the Robux purchase. Keep this for when you need diamonds immediately; all other methods are free.

One-time easter egg: type a chat phrase while fishing

There’s a small bonus you can trigger exactly once per account while fishing.

Step 1: Start fishing, then type the phrase yay fishing in chat. This spawns two diamonds next to you.

Step 2: Pick up the spawned diamonds immediately. This works only a single time, so don’t expect it to repeat.

Prioritize your diamond spending

Diamonds are most impactful when they unlock Classes that speed up future farming or survival thresholds. Spending early on a Stronghold-capable Class or on talents that shorten run times can pay back quickly by increasing your hourly diamond income.

Mix Stronghold loops with opportunistic chest looting and milestone runs, then top up with badges, events, and codes. Spend where it speeds up your next diamond gain the most.
