Investigate Ban Khantao — First reporting point
Head into Ban Khantao along the main road. You are looking for an unfinished construction area next to a bus stop. Nearby landmarks include a tool shed, a red van, and a motorbike parked under a makeshift garage. Once you spot these, move around to the back side of the tool shed.
Behind the shed, you will find dead bodies. One body is propped flat against the shed wall with blood spattered on the surface behind it. Walk up to this body and interact with the "Report findings" prompt that appears. Doing so opens a radio dialogue with Artisan and completes the first objective.
Search the southern trail — Report the truck
After the first report, follow the southern trail that leads away from the village toward the river. Along this path, you will come across a truck that is part of the evidence chain. Approach the truck and use the report interaction just as you did at the first site. This confirms the second objective.
Locate the mass grave — Final report
Continue past the truck until you reach the mass grave. Walk close enough to trigger the interaction zone, then use the "Report findings" prompt one last time. Artisan will deliver a final piece of dialogue revealing that the villagers were killed by the LAF for supporting the LLA. Once the conversation ends, the quest is marked complete, and your rewards are deposited.
How to confirm completion
After the third report, Artisan's dialogue will play automatically. You will hear him reflect on the massacre and the broader conflict. When the dialogue finishes, the task status in your journal switches to "Completed," and the 300 XP, reputation, and $870 are credited immediately. If the journal still shows the task as active, double-check that you interacted with all three reporting points — missing even one will keep the quest open.

Silent Village fails if you die at any point while it is active. On failure, you lose 17 reputation with Artisan, and the task enters a cooldown of at least 20 minutes before you can accept it again.
