The Fall Market is live in Grow a Garden, bringing four limited-time shops, a seasonal currency loop, and a server-wide “Fall Bloom” mechanic that controls both unlocks and restocks. The event kicked off September 13, 2025, with the developer highlighting the format in an official announcement.

Where to find the shops and what they sell

All four Fall Festival stalls sit around the lobby’s central tree (the Harvest Spirit). Each is run by an NPC and sells for Sheckles at fixed prices:

  • Pets: Avery
  • Seeds: Elijah
  • Gears: Danielle
  • Cosmetics: Liam

You can browse at any time, but many items are locked until your server has triggered the Fall Bloom a certain number of times.

Fall Bloom drives everything: unlocks, restocks, and mutations

The Harvest Spirit periodically requests a specific plant type (e.g., Berry, Flower, Tropical, Woody). Feed it eligible crops to fill a shared progress bar.

  • Trigger threshold: 500 points per Fall Bloom.
  • Points by rarity: Common 1, Uncommon 2, Rare 3, Legendary 4, Mythical 5, Divine 6, Prismatic 7, Transcendent 8. Variant crops typically add a bonus (+1 Silver, +2 Gold, +3 Rainbow).
  • After a Bloom: shops restock, crops can gain a Fall mutation (increasing value), and you receive a random fall reward (examples include a Fall Egg, Fall Crate, Event Lanterns, Reclaimers, or Watering Cans).
  • Cooldown: expect a short window after a Bloom when the tree won’t accept more plants (commonly five minutes).
  • Request rotation: the requested plant type changes on a timer. Many players see ~30-minute rotations; plan around what’s active on your server.
Tip: You can either hold a single crop and choose “Feed this to the Harvest Spirit” or use “Feed all my plants to the Harvest Spirit” to dump everything relevant in your backpack.

Restocks aren’t automatic this time

Unlike routine shops that refresh on timers, Fall Market stalls only restock when your server triggers a Bloom. If an item you want isn’t in stock after a restock, you’ll need to push another Bloom (or switch to a busier server where Blooms happen more frequently).

Efficient ways to progress the Bloom bar

  • Farm by type, not crop: focus on what the Harvest Spirit is currently requesting. Plant and harvest within that category to minimize waste.
  • Rarity matters: high-rarity crops contribute more points. Save a few high-rarity pulls for when the matching type is active.
  • Use variant bonuses: silver, gold, and rainbow variants add points. If you’ve stockpiled them from other events, this is the time to cash in.
  • Play the cooldown: if you’re close to 500, coordinate with your lobby so contributions land right after the Bloom cooldown, not during it.
  • Leverage busy servers: the meter is shared, so crowded lobbies tend to trigger Blooms faster and restock stalls more often.

What the Fall mutation and free rewards actually do

As the Fall Bloom progress accumulates, crops in your garden can gain a temporary Fall mutation that boosts their sale value. Each Bloom also rolls a free seasonal reward. Examples players have reported include one Fall Egg or Fall Crate, 30 Event Lanterns, three Reclaimers, or 20 Watering Cans. Reward pools are random; be prepared for some variance.

Why this event feels different

The Fall Market leans into collaborative pacing. Unlocking late-tier items like Space Squirrel, Maple Resin, or Golden Acorn isn’t about waiting for a timer—it’s about contributing enough Blooms with your server to expand each stall’s catalog and then catching the stock you want on a restock cycle.

Notes on discrepancies and live tuning

Two areas commonly differ across guides and player reports: how often the Harvest Spirit’s request rotates (many see ~30 minutes; some report hourly), and the exact Bloom counts for late unlocks. In practice, the stall UI shows current requirements per server. If something here doesn’t match your lobby, rely on the in-game requirement labels—events do get tuned after launch.

Quick reference: shop highlights to target

  • Starter buys: Fall Egg (90M), Turnip (10M), Firefly Jar (500k), Fall Crate (50M)
  • Mid-tier goals: Marmot (700M, 10 Blooms), Maple Sprinkler (250M, 9 Blooms), Bonfire (500M, 10 Blooms)
  • Endgame pulls: Space Squirrel (1.25B, 17 Blooms), Maple Resin (1.5B, 17 Blooms), Golden Acorn (10B, 17 Blooms)

If you only remember one thing: push Blooms. They unlock the catalogs, restock the shelves, boost your crop value, and hand out free seasonal items along the way. From there, it’s a matter of saving Sheckles for the late-tier picks you want before the event window closes.
