Aemeath is a five-star Fusion DPS character built around burst damage through her Resonance Liberation ability. She uses a sword and operates on a dual-mode system that lets you switch between Tune Rupture and Fusion Burst depending on your combat needs. Tune Rupture excels against single targets with consistent damage, while Fusion Burst delivers high-impact area-of-effect damage. Understanding how to optimize her kit across echoes, weapons, and team synergy determines how effectively she performs.

Sonata effects and echo setup
The Trailblazing Star is Aemeath's best-in-slot echo set. Its two-piece bonus grants 10% Fusion Damage, and the full five-piece effect increases your Crit Rate by 20% and Fusion Damage by an additional 20% for eight seconds whenever you trigger Fusion Burst or Tune Rupture Shifting. This set directly amplifies her core mechanics.
If you haven't unlocked the Lahai-Roi domain yet, the Molten Rift set serves as a solid alternative. It provides 10% Fusion Damage at two pieces and 30% increased Fusion Damage when using a skill at five pieces.
For your main echo slot, pair Trailblazing Star with Sigillum, the new boss echo. It grants a 25% Resonance Liberation Damage bonus when equipped by Aemeath—critical since her primary damage source comes from her Liberation ability. If you're using Molten Rift instead, equip Nightmare: Inferno Rider for 12% Resonance Skill and Fusion Damage.
Build your remaining echo slots around these main stats: Crit Rate or Crit Damage at cost four, Fusion Damage Bonus at cost three (both slots), Attack Percent at cost one (both slots). Prioritize Crit Damage and Crit Rate in substats, followed by Attack Percent and Resonance Liberation Damage.

Weapon choices
The Everbright Polestar is Aemeath's signature weapon and her optimal choice. It provides 12% All-Attribute Damage Bonus and causes her Resonance Liberation Damage to ignore 32% of enemy defense and 10% of Fusion Resistance for eight seconds after triggering Tune Shifting or Fusion Burst.
Without her signature weapon, Emerald of Genesis offers the most balanced five-star alternative. Its 12.8% Energy Regeneration bonus directly addresses the resource management demands of her rotation, letting you execute burst cycles more frequently and smoothly. While it won't push single-burst damage as high as her signature weapon, the improved rotation fluidity translates to higher overall damage output.
Blazing Brilliance works as a secondary five-star option if you have it. It grants stacks of Searing Feather when dealing damage, with five stacks triggered by Resonance Skill casts. Each stack increases Resonance Skill Damage by 4%, up to 14 stacks.
For four-star weapons, Feather Edge is the premier choice. It increases Attack by 7.2% and grants 10.8% Resonance Liberation Damage Bonus for 15 seconds whenever you cast Resonance Liberation. Since her entire rotation centers on this ability, the bonus triggers reliably and consistently.

Skill upgrade priority
Resonance Liberation and Forte Circuit are your top upgrade targets. Resonance Liberation is her primary damage source, and Forte Circuit enables her mode-switching mechanics and resource generation. Resonance Skill comes next—it supports rotation fluidity and generates the resources needed for her burst. Basic Attack is useful but secondary compared to her ability-focused kit. Intro Skill requires minimal investment since it deals minimal damage.
Team composition
Aemeath pairs best with characters that amplify her burst damage and support her Tune Break playstyle. Lynae and Mornye form the core of her most effective team. Lynae grants the entire team 24% All-Type Damage Bonus through her Resonance Liberation and provides 15% All-Type Damage Deepen plus 25% Resonance Liberation Damage Deepen through her Outro Skill. Mornye supplies 25% Attack, 25% universal Damage Deepen, and grants an additional 40% Damage Bonus for eight seconds after a team member performs a Tune Break.
If you lack these characters, Chisa, Lupa, and Sanhua offer viable alternatives depending on your roster. Chisa works well in Fusion Burst-focused builds, while Lupa excels in mono-Fusion teams. Sanhua provides fast Concerto Energy generation and quick team cycling.
The key principle is keeping Aemeath on the field for extended periods. Avoid pairing her with characters that demand significant field time, as her damage scales with active gameplay and resource accumulation.
Aemeath rewards careful stat balancing and rotation execution. Her flexibility across Tune Rupture and Fusion Burst modes means you can adapt her to different content, but her core strength lies in burst damage amplification through proper echo stacking, weapon synergy, and team support.
