A Mirage of Wine is a Wandering Tales side quest found in the Hexi region of Where Winds Meet, introduced with the Version 1.4 Home Afar update. The quest sends you on a journey across the Jade Gate Pass area to find four members of the Mu family, each desperately craving a wine called Spring's Bounty.

Step 1: After speaking with Mu the Heartless at Karez, head west toward Jade Gate Pass and continue to the western side of Horsehelm Village. Look for an area with dried-up wells to find Mu the Shameless.
Step 2: Travel eastward to Wraithridge Pass. Mu the Faithless is positioned near the yellow boundary line on the map. He'll beg for the same wine.
Step 3: Head south toward the lake at Heroic Tomb. Mu the Mindless is here, mourning his camel Xiaoyi. He wants Spring's Bounty to help the camel, not himself.
Finishing the Quest at Heroic Tomb
Step 1: After speaking with all four Mu's, travel to the western tip of Heroic Tomb. All four NPCs will be gathered around a fifth character, Grandpa Mu.
Step 2: Eavesdrop on their conversation from a distance. The game will prompt you to stay at range rather than approach directly.
Step 3: Follow the group as they walk toward the water. A brief cutscene plays, and the quest ends automatically once it finishes.

Can You Actually Give the Mu's Their Wine?
The standard quest path has you speaking to each Mu without being able to hand over Spring's Bounty. However, the wine can be obtained separately. Players have reported finding four bottles of the wine, but noted there are five Mu family members total (including Grandpa Mu), so the interaction may not cover everyone. What happens if you bring the wine before speaking to all four Mu's remains an open question — the quest still completes through the eavesdropping sequence regardless.
