Fix the Super Crane is a side mission in Arknights: Endfield that unlocks after you finish the Quarry Rescue quest in the Aburrey Quarry area of Valley IV. The quest involves repairing a broken power nexus, solving a security code puzzle, navigating platforming sections with reactive devices and jump pads, and ultimately repositioning the crane arm to reach the Deep Management Post. It rewards a solid haul of upgrade materials and progression currency.
Quick answer: The security device code is 4-2-3-1 (the P-series sequence). Hit the four reactive devices in that order to unlock the Archive door and retrieve the missing originium circuitry component.

Check the Super Crane Power Nexus
Follow Ramon to the back of the control room and interact with the Super Crane Power Nexus panel. You'll see a Repair Logic puzzle with a missing component style — the circuitry piece you need is deeper in the quarry, so exit the panel and let Ramon point you in the right direction.
Ride the lifting cage and reach the Archive
Step 1: Interact with the lifting cage controls just north of Ramon. The cage will carry you down to the lower quarry area.
Step 2: Once you arrive, head forward along the path toward the Archive. You'll encounter Aggeloi enemies along the way — you can fight or skip most of them. Eventually, you'll reach a Crane Lifter Terminal with a control panel. Rotate the platform so it forms a bridge to the next section.

Step 3: Continue along the path until a cutscene triggers, showing a UWST crew member named Mila being attacked by three Lv. 21 Aggeloi. Defeat them, and Mila will agree to escort you to the Archive.
Security device puzzle — The correct code is 4-2-3-1
Mila leads you to a security device blocking the Archive entrance. The area is protected by laser grids controlled by reactive devices (pylons) that you hit to temporarily disable.
Step 1: Strike the first reactive device near the entrance to drop the initial laser grid. It reactivates after a short time, so move through quickly.

Step 2: Once inside, turn right and hit another reactive device to disable the laser grid blocking the room with four numbered reactive devices and a locked door.
Step 3: Read the memo posted to the left of the door. It tells you which letter series to use. The memo references the P-series parts. Now look for the code painted on nearby cargo — you'll find P-4231 written on a crate behind you (facing away from the door). Strike the four reactive devices in order: 4, 2, 3, 1.
The three possible password sequences stored in the area are:
| Series | Code |
|---|---|
| J | 1-3-2-4 |
| U | 3-2-1-4 |
| P | 4-2-3-1 |

Retrieve the originium circuitry and return to Lifter Central
Head through the now-open door and interact with the documents inside the Archive. A cutscene plays, and you receive the missing originium circuitry component style. Mila asks you to return to Lifter Central.
On the way back, defeat the three Aggeloi blocking the return path, then activate the nearby panel to create a shortcut. Climb the rope, ride the elevator up, and speak with Ramon.

Solve the Repair Logic puzzle
With the missing component in hand, interact with the power nexus panel again. You need to arrange the circuitry pieces on the board to complete the circuit. Drag each piece into the correct position — the layout is a straightforward fit-the-shape puzzle. Once the pieces are placed correctly, the super crane powers up.
Turn the lifting cage right and explore the Quarry Site
After the repair cutscene, head to the now-active control panel and activate it to turn the lifting cage right. Ride it to the Quarry Site and activate the checkpoint when you arrive.
The Quarry Site requires you to hit two reactive devices to progress upward:
Step 1: Hit the reactive device near the right side of the checkpoint to generate power to a bridge.
Step 2: Push past the Aggeloi in the area and hit a second reactive device to fully activate the bridge connecting the lift to the upper platform. Cross the bridge and use the jump pad to reach the elevated section.

Find Penny and follow her up the quarry
A cutscene introduces an old lady warning you about collapsing platforms. Jump down to the lower pathway, head left, and climb the rope to reach her. Her name is Penny, and she'll guide you toward the crane arm.
From Penny's camp, drop down to the right and follow the cables on the ground until you find a reactive device. Hit it to power up nearby jump pads. Head up the slope and use the jump pads to reach Penny's next position for another cutscene.

Climb up to the crane arm
After speaking with Penny again, hit the reactive device near her and follow the cable on the ground. This powers up additional jump pads that let you continue ascending. Use the final jump pad at the top to land on the crane arm itself.
Blast the maintenance shaft and control the crane
Step 1: Walk along the crane arm until you reach a maintenance shaft blocked by metal debris. Pick up the nearby bomb and throw it at the obstacle to clear the shaft.

Step 2: Use the rope to descend back to Lifter Central and speak with Ramon.
Step 3: At the crane controls, interact with the right control once to bring up the elevator. Then, interact with the left control twice to rotate the super crane and create a path toward the Deep Management Post.
A cutscene plays showing the UWST SAR Crew getting attacked. Climb the rope back up the crane arm and talk to Ramon again.

Defeat the Aggeloi and complete the quest
Run across the crane arm and drop down to the area below. You need to defeat a total of 10 Aggeloi to save the UWST SAR Crew. The enemies are not particularly tough at this point in the game, but they come in numbers, so manage your positioning.
Once all enemies are down, a final cutscene plays. The quest completes, and the next mission — Deep Management Post Rescue — unlocks automatically.

Fix the Super Crane is one of the longer side missions in Valley IV, but the puzzles are all fairly forgiving — the security code can be brute-forced with bombs, the Repair Logic puzzle is a simple drag-and-drop, and the platforming sections are linear once you know which reactive devices to hit. The real payoff is opening up the Aburrey Quarry's deeper areas and the chain of quests that follow.
