Heart of Iron is a Wandering Tale side quest in Where Winds Meet set in the Qinghe region. The quest involves tracking down a mysterious man named Ye Meng — dressed like a member of the Tigers in Chains despite his troops being stationed far to the north — and delivering a personal keepsake to him. It's a short quest with only two real objectives, but both locations can be tricky to find if you don't know where to look.
Quick answer: Talk to Ye Meng near the Back Mountain Boundary Stone in southern Qinghe, then retrieve Ye Wanshan's Dagger from a table inside a partially destroyed pagoda in Bodhi Sea and bring it back to him.

Prerequisite — Bodhi Sea Lost Chapter
You cannot pick up the dagger until you've completed the Bodhi Sea Lost Chapter quest, which unlocks access to the Bodhi Sea area. If you haven't finished that questline yet, Heart of Iron will stall at the second objective. Complete the Lost Chapter first, then return to this Wandering Tale.
Heart of Iron Walkthrough
Step 1: Travel to the Back Mountain Boundary Stone in the southern part of the Qinghe map. Ye Meng is standing on the left side of the area near this teleportation point, at the foot of the hill behind the Palace of Annals. Speak with him to begin the quest and learn about the dagger he's searching for.

Step 2: Head to Bodhi Sea. From the boss teleportation point in Bodhi Sea, turn around and look to your left. You'll see a partially destroyed pagoda. Go inside and find Ye Wanshan's Dagger sitting on a table (or bench) within the structure. Pick it up.

Step 3: Return to Ye Meng at his original location near the Back Mountain Boundary Stone and hand over the dagger. The quest completes once you deliver the item.

Common Sticking Points
The biggest source of confusion with Heart of Iron is simply finding the two key locations. Ye Meng doesn't appear on the map with an obvious quest marker for many players, and the dagger inside Bodhi Sea is tucked away in a ruined building that's easy to walk past. If you've already defeated the Bodhi Sea campaign boss (The General) but can't find the dagger, make sure you're checking the pagoda to the left of the boss teleport — not the main arena or surrounding cliffs.
The 40 Echo Jade and 5,000 Character EXP make Heart of Iron worth completing even if it takes a few minutes of searching. Once you hand the dagger to Ye Meng, you'll see the quest marked as finished in your Wandering Tales log.
