Garden Horizons' Mythical update replaced the old Manny event with something more involved. An NPC named Rosalind now stands on the platform above the Seed Shop, flanked by agents, a helicopter, and a makeshift lab. She's the head of the IGMA field research team, and she wants one thing from you: Strange mutated plants. Hand them over, rack up points, and you'll unlock a reward track that runs all the way up to a Mythic seed.
Quick answer: Harvest crops that gain the Strange mutation during the recurring weather event (every 30 minutes, lasting 5 minutes), then individually turn them in to Rosalind on the event platform behind the Seed Shop. Higher-rarity crops yield more points per turn-in.

Where to Find Rosalind
Head to the main shopping square. To the left of Bill's Seed Shop, a flight of stairs leads up to a platform that previously served as a viewing area. Climb to the top, and you'll find Rosalind alongside her crew of IGMA agents. Interact with her and choose "Turn in Strange Plants" to submit your mutated crops.
How the Strange Weather Event Works
The Strange mutation is tied to a special weather cycle that triggers every 30 minutes and lasts for 5 minutes. When it activates, the sky darkens, and neon-green lightning appears. During this window, random plants in your garden receive the Strange mutation — you'll recognize them by the green flames surrounding the fruit.
A countdown timer on the event platform tracks when the next cycle begins. You need to be online and have harvestable plants in your garden when the event fires. Freshly picked plots give your crops a better chance of mutating, so clear your garden before the timer hits zero.
The Strange mutation also carries a 2× value multiplier on the plant's sell price, though that multiplier is modest compared to mutations like Salad or Disco. The real value of Strange plants is their role in Rosalind's quest.

Points Per Crop Rarity
Each Strange plant you turn in earns points based on the base rarity of the crop, not the mutation itself. The breakdown is straightforward:
| Crop Rarity | Points Per Turn-In |
|---|---|
| Common | 1 |
| Uncommon | 2 |
| Rare | 3 |
| Epic | 4 |
| Legendary | 5 |
| Mythical | 6 |
One frustrating quirk: you must hold each Strange plant individually and interact with Rosalind one at a time. There's no bulk submission option, so turning in 50 plants means 50 separate interactions.

Best Crops to Farm for Points
Watermelon and Pineapple — the new Mythical seeds — award 6 points each, but most players only have one or two of these seeds, making them impractical to farm at scale. Instead, focus on crops that balance rarity with volume.
Apple trees are strong candidates because a single tree produces multiple fruits per harvest, and Apples sit at Rare rarity (3 points each). Tomatoes work similarly and are easy to replant in bulk. Bananas (Epic, 4 points) offer a good middle ground if you have enough seeds. Roses are another solid Rare option that can generate consistent Strange mutations across multiple harvests.
The key is filling your garden with as many high-rarity, fast-harvest plants as possible before each 30-minute cycle. More plants in the ground means more chances for the Strange mutation to land.

Full IGMA Event Reward Track
Rosalind's reward pool scales from basic seeds at 5 points all the way to a Mythic seed at 500. Here's the complete list:
| Points | Reward | Rarity | Qty |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5 | Strawberry Seed | Uncommon | ×3 |
| 10 | Beetroot Seed | Rare | ×3 |
| 20 | Tomato Seed | Rare | ×3 |
| 30 | Basic Sprinkler | Common | ×2 |
| 50 | IGMA Seed Pack | Rare | ×1 |
| 75 | Apple Seed | Rare | ×2 |
| 100 | Rose Seed | Rare | ×2 |
| 125 | Turbo Sprinkler | Uncommon | ×2 |
| 150 | IGMA Seed Pack | Rare | ×3 |
| 175 | Wheat Seed | Epic | ×3 |
| 200 | Banana Seed | Epic | ×2 |
| 230 | Royal Seed Pack | Epic | ×1 |
| 260 | Favorite Tool | Epic | ×4 |
| 300 | Plum Seed | Epic | ×2 |
| 330 | Royal Seed Pack | Epic | ×2 |
| 360 | Turbo Sprinkler | Uncommon | ×1 |
| 400 | Potato Seed | Epic | ×2 |
| 430 | Trowel | Epic | ×1 |
| 470 | IGMA Seed Pack | Legendary | ×5 |
| 500 | Mythic Seed (TBA) | Mythic | ×1 |
The mid-tier rewards are useful for building out your garden — Royal Seed Packs and IGMA Seed Packs can drop valuable seeds, and the Favorite Tool at 260 points is a solid pickup. But the real prize sits at 500 points: a Mythic-rarity seed whose identity hasn't been fully confirmed yet.
New Mythical Seeds and Tools in the Same Update
The IGMA event arrived alongside a broader Mythical update that added two purchasable seeds to Bill's Seed Shop. The Watermelon Seed costs $2M in-game currency and is a single-harvest Mythical plant with a base sell price around $250K — far above the previous best (Bamboo at $70K). The Pineapple Seed costs $15M and functions as a multi-harvest Mythical plant with a base sell price near $50K per fruit, rivaling Cabbage for sustained income.
A third new seed, Lumen Bark, was distributed free to players who participated in the most recent Admin Abuse event (the one involving a Cthulhu boss fight). Lumen Bark is Legendary-tier with a base sell price of $12K — decent but not game-changing.
Molly's Tool Shop also added the Reverter, a Mythical tool costing $1M that removes a fully grown plant from your garden and returns its seed to your inventory. It's particularly useful for reorganizing plots without losing rare seeds.

Maximizing Points Efficiently
The Strange weather event fires on a fixed 30-minute loop, so your farming rhythm should revolve around that timer. Log in a few minutes before the cycle, make sure your garden is harvested and replanted, then wait for the green lightning. Harvest everything immediately after the mutation window ends, turn in your Strange crops to Rosalind, and replant for the next cycle.
Staying online across multiple cycles in a single session is the fastest path to 500 points. If you're running Rare crops like Apples or Roses, expect roughly 3 points per mutated plant. Epic crops like Bananas bump that to 4. The math favors volume — a garden packed with fast-growing, high-rarity plants will outpace a garden with a single Mythical seed every time.

The IGMA event runs on a recurring basis, so there's no rush to finish in a single sitting. But if you want that Mythic seed at the top of the reward track, consistent participation across multiple Strange weather cycles is the only way to get there. Plant high, harvest fast, and keep feeding Rosalind.
