How to Farm Clover Points in SpongeBob Tower Defense's St. Patrick's Event

SpongeBob Tower Defense ran a one-week St. Patrick's Event from March 14 through March 21, 2026, introducing a temporary currency called Clover Points, two new crate types, and a milestone reward track headlined by the Lepre-can't prismatic unit. The event required serious grinding — or some Robux — to hit the top milestones, and understanding the most efficient farming methods made a significant difference in how far you could progress.

Quick answer: Every completed match in story mode or challenges awards Clover Points. The fastest free-to-play farming method is running Conch Street on story mode, which takes roughly 33 seconds per clear and grants 8 clovers each time. Challenges award up to 25 clovers per completion but take longer, resulting in a similar hourly rate.

Clover Points — How Earning Works

Clover Points dropped from every finished match during the event window. The base payout was fixed at 8 clovers per story mode completion, regardless of map or difficulty. Playing Conch Street on Davy Jones' difficulty, for example, still gave 8 clovers — the same as running it on normal — but the harder difficulty also provided strong Season Pass XP, letting you double-dip on progression.

Two game modes did not award any clovers at all: Infinite Mode and Boss Battles. Players who spent time in either of those modes during the event earned zero event currency from them.

For players willing to spend Robux, Clover Point packs were available in the event shop:

PackCost (Robux)
250 Clovers149
1,000 Clovers449
5,000 Clovers1,349
2× Clover Boost (doubles earnings)499

The 2× Clover Boost game pass effectively halved the grind time for every match, making it the single most impactful purchase for anyone planning to chase the 100,000-clover Superstar milestone.

Fastest Clover Farming Methods

Story mode — Conch Street

Conch Street was the fastest story mode map to clear, taking as little as 33 seconds with a strong unit like an SPU (or any unit capable of soloing the wave). Factoring in replay time, each run took about 40 seconds total, yielding 8 clovers. That works out to roughly 720 clovers per hour without the 2× boost, or around 1,440 per hour with it.

Running Conch Street on Davy Jones' difficulty didn't change the clover payout but stacked Season Pass XP on top, making it the best option for players who wanted to level their pass simultaneously.

Story mode — Rock Bottom

Rock Bottom was the next-fastest map at approximately 37 seconds per clear, still awarding the standard 8 clovers. It also offered slightly better gem and XP drops than Conch Street, making it a solid alternative if you wanted to farm multiple resources at once. The hourly clover rate was marginally lower than Conch Street due to the extra few seconds per run.

Challenges — Christmas Conch Street

Challenges awarded more clovers per completion — up to 25 per run — but took proportionally longer. The Christmas Conch Street challenge, for instance, granted 25 clovers and could be finished in about 1 minute and 12 seconds. When you do the math, the clovers-per-hour rate ended up nearly identical to spamming Conch Street in story mode. The developers balanced the payouts so that no single mode was dramatically faster than another.

Raids

Raids offered around 50 clovers per completion but took roughly three minutes each, landing them in the same efficiency range as the other methods. Raids had the added benefit of dropping other valuable rewards (including prismatic units), so they were worth running if you wanted side loot. The Bubble Bull raid was considered the fastest option for players looking to macro their farming.

Milestone Rewards

Spending Clover Points on crates advanced your milestone counter. As you hit specific thresholds, you unlocked exclusive rewards that couldn't be obtained any other way during the event.

Milestone LevelRewardRarity
2,500Clover Crate ×5Limited
10,000Pot O' Gold (mount)Exotic
25,000Lepre-can'tPrismatic
100,000Lepre-can't (Wumbo Shiny) [Superstar Variant]Prismatic

The Lepre-can't at 25,000 clovers was reachable with consistent daily play over the event's week-long window. The Superstar variant at 100,000 clovers, however, required near-constant AFK farming — roughly five to six full days of 24/7 grinding without the 2× boost. The Lepre-can't was widely regarded as one of the strongest prismatic units in the game, featuring high damage and splash AoE, making the grind worthwhile for competitive players.

Clover Crate Drop Rates

Clover Crates cost 250 Clover Points each and were the primary way to spend your earned currency. Each crate contained one of the following:

RewardRarityDrop Chance
Lucky Bites (food)Mythic67%
Luck of The Irish (relic)Secret22.9%
Lucky SpongeSecret6.5%
Lucky Sponge (Shiny Wumbo)Secret2.5%
St. Patrick (Wumbo)Exotic1%
St. Patrick (Shiny Wumbo)Exotic0.1%

Lucky Bites was the most common pull at 67%, functioning as a high-XP food item. The Luck of The Irish relic was particularly valuable — it boosted gold income and increased the equipped unit's net worth by 25%, making it a strong pick for players focused on climbing the net worth leaderboard. Lucky Sponge served as a line AoE unit, while St. Patrick was a splash damage unit at exotic rarity with extremely low drop rates.

Fortune Crate Drop Rates (Robux Only)

Fortune Crates were a premium-only crate type containing variants of Scottish Cheeks, a prismatic Sandy Cheeks unit. These could not be purchased with Clover Points.

QuantityCost (Robux)
1 Fortune Crate1,495
3 Fortune Crates2,995
5 Fortune Crates4,495

Every Fortune Crate guaranteed at least a base prismatic Scottish Cheeks. The full drop table looked like this:

RewardRarityDrop Chance
Scottish CheeksPrismatic64%
Scottish Cheeks (Shiny)Prismatic20%
Scottish Cheeks (Better Variant)Prismatic10%
Scottish Cheeks (Wumbo)Prismatic5%
Scottish Cheeks (Wumbo Shiny) [Superstar Variant]Prismatic1%

The 1% Superstar drop rate with no pity system made the top-tier Scottish Cheeks variant extremely expensive to target. Multiple Fortune Crate pulls could, however, be fused together to star up the unit, which was a strong net worth play for players willing to invest heavily.

Season Pass Rework

The St. Patrick's Event update also shipped alongside a complete season pass rework. The pass was restructured into three tiers: free, premium, and elite. Free tiers included a prismatic treasure chest. Premium tiers (purchased separately) offered an exclusive limited unit. Elite tiers, priced at 1,995 Robux, came with an exclusive prismatic unit. All reward tracks across the pass were updated with current-era items, replacing the previously outdated loot tables.

The St. Patrick's Event in SpongeBob Tower Defense rewarded consistent play above all else. Whether you farmed Conch Street in 33-second loops or ran challenges for 25 clovers a pop, the hourly rates were deliberately balanced to be roughly equivalent. The real variable was time, and whether you were willing to let the game run around the clock to reach that 100,000-clover Superstar Lepre-can't.
