How to Find and Farm Redjade Ginseng in Arknights: Endfield

Redjade Ginseng is a 2★ natural resource in Arknights: Endfield, classified as a plant. It's described in-game as a mild herb consumed by people in Hongshan as a fortifying supplement, and it can only be grown through fine cultivation. On its own, it doesn't look like much, but it's the key ingredient for two of the most powerful offensive consumables available in Version 1.0 — and getting a reliable supply takes a bit of setup.

Quick answer: Collect your first Redjade Ginseng from the wild south of Wuling City to unlock its crafting recipes and seeds, then set up an automated Eco-Farm with sprinklers to produce a steady supply every four hours.

What Redjade Ginseng crafts into

Redjade Ginseng is required for two consumable recipes, both unlocked through the Crafting Manual after you pick up the plant for the first time.

ConsumableRecipeEffect (300s duration)
Ginseng Meat StewFillet + Redjade GinsengATK +180, Critical Rate +11.44%
Fortifying InfusionJincao Powder + Redjade GinsengCritical Rate +9.1%, All Damage +18.19%

Between the two, Ginseng Meat Stew is generally the higher-priority craft. The flat ATK boost, combined with the crit rate increase, makes it the stronger offensive option for most team compositions. Fortifying Infusion trades some of that raw power for a percentage-based All Damage buff, which can be useful in specific setups. Either way, you'll want Redjade Ginseng in bulk.

Where to find Redjade Ginseng in the wild

The most commonly referenced initial spawn is south of Wuling City, near the Market Leaf map marker. The plant grows on the side of a mountain in that area. Picking it up for the first time unlocks the entire Redjade Ginseng crafting system, including the ability to process the plant into seeds and access its recipes in the Crafting Manual.

Despite some early guides suggesting only one or two wild spawns exist, interactive maps for the game show around seven Redjade Ginseng locations scattered across the world. Additional spawns have been confirmed at the base of a large pillar near the southern teleport point in the Treasure Grotto, and on cliffs next to the mining site in the Maintenance Zone. If you're hunting for initial stock before your farm is running, checking these spots is worthwhile.

Buying Redjade Ginseng Seeds daily

After you've collected your first Redjade Ginseng and unlocked the plant, an NPC vendor near Wellmorin — located outside the Wuling Farm entry — sells up to five Redjade Ginseng Seeds per day. This same vendor also unlocks the rare Amber Rice seed. Buying seeds daily is an easy way to supplement your farm output, especially in the early days before your Eco-Farm is fully automated.

Setting up the Redjade Ginseng Eco-Farm

The Seed-Picking Unit in your AIC factory converts one Redjade Ginseng into two Redjade Ginseng Seeds at a rate of 30 input per minute and 60 output per minute, with a two-second processing time. You can also get seeds from the daily vendor or by processing harvested plants.

Step 1: Open the crafting menu in your Backpack and combine Redjade Ginseng Seeds with Carbon to create Redjade Ginseng Field plots. Carbon is produced by processing Buckflower in a Refining Unit at your factory.

Step 2: Place the field plots at the Agricultural Test Site or any available Eco-Farm location. Manually germinate and water each plot for the first time. This starts a four-hour growth cycle.

Step 3: Automate watering by connecting Fluid Pumps to a water source, then running Water Pipes through Pipe Splitters to Sprinklers positioned to cover two fields each. Power the Sprinklers using a Relay Tower and Pylons. Once connected, the Sprinklers handle watering automatically every four hours.

Double-check that all water pipes are properly connected and that every Sprinkler has power. A single broken connection will stop the automation chain for that section of your farm.

Fertilizer from Burdenbeasts

To speed up your Eco-Farm yields, complete the side quest "Burdenbeast Tales," given by LiFeng. The quest takes roughly five to ten minutes and ends in the southeast of Wuling City, where packs of Burdenbeasts roam. After completing the quest, you can pat each Burdenbeast once per day. Each pat drops Burdo-Muck, which functions as fertilizer for your Eco-Farm plots.

Getting the other recipe ingredients

Redjade Ginseng is only half of each recipe. For Ginseng Meat Stew, you also need Fillet. This gatherable drops from Wild Tuskbeasts and Bonekrusher Ripptusks found in the open world. An interactive map can help you locate their spawn points efficiently.

For Fortifying Infusion, the second ingredient is Jincao Powder. This can be produced through an automated AIC plant chain in Wuling using Seed Picking, Planting, and Shredding units fed by water pipes. Load Jincao into the Seed-Picking Unit to start the cycle, and make sure the Planting unit is connected to a water supply.

Unlocking recipes and Crafting Manual progression

Crafting recipes in Arknights: Endfield unlock progressively. You gain access to new recipes by acquiring ingredients for the first time, and higher-grade recipes appear as you produce or collect more of the same materials. The Crafting Manual tracks collection goals automatically — for instance, planting Redjade Ginseng at the Agricultural Test Site triggers a "gather 150" goal in the manual. Completing these milestones also awards free Oroberyl.

Efficiency tips for daily farming

Building a Zipline from your base core to the Eco-Farm area saves significant travel time on daily harvest runs. You'll want to visit the farm each day to collect your Redjade Ginseng, pat the Burdenbeasts for fertilizer, and buy seeds from the Wellmorin vendor.

The Eco-Farm operates on a four-hour cycle, so if you log in multiple times per day, you can harvest more than once. The automation handles watering, but you still need to manually collect the harvested plants each session.

Redjade Ginseng is one of those resources that seems scarce at first but becomes plentiful once the farm infrastructure is in place. The initial setup takes some effort — gathering Carbon, placing plots, wiring up Sprinklers — but once it's running, you'll have a steady stream of the ingredient powering two of the best combat buffs in the game.
