How to find Raider Caches fast in Arc Raiders

Raider Caches are small loot boxes tucked around the maps that you can pinpoint by sound. They’re worth the detour: caches can contain quick‑use consumables, ammo, weapons, attachments, and occasionally valuable weapon blueprints. Here’s how to find them consistently and complete “Raider cache dug up” or “Dig up Raider stash” tasks along the way.

Identify Raider Caches (what to look and listen for)

Out in the field, a Raider Cache is a compact container that can be easy to miss visually, especially in grass or bushes. The tell is audio: a steady ticking like an old clock, sometimes paired with a faint wail. Home in on that sound and you’ll find the cache within a few meters.

During a special map condition called Uncovered Caches, caches spawn all over and are easier to spot—watch for a small red flag marking the stash in addition to the ticking.

Find Raider Caches during Uncovered Caches (fastest method)

This dynamic event floods the map with caches and adds a clear visual cue, drastically speeding up cache hunting. Caches in this condition are rigged to explode if left exposed too long, so loot promptly and move.

Dynamic event What changes Maps Risk
Uncovered Caches. Caches spawn commonly; listen for ticking or look for a small red flag. Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Acerra Spaceport. Exposed caches are rigged to explode if you linger.

Step 1: Queue into a match with the Uncovered Caches condition active. On these runs, expect multiple caches across the map and a louder map-wide audio cue when a cache drops late in the match.

Step 2: Move through open or rural areas and scan for the red flag marker. If you don’t see a flag, slow down and listen for the ticking; prioritize sound over sight to avoid walking past stashes.

Step 3: Loot quickly once found. These event caches are volatile—open, grab items, and relocate to avoid the detonation window.

Step 4: Repeat in neighboring areas. Spawns are spread widely, so a simple perimeter sweep around your route often nets several stashes per run.

Locate Raider Caches by audio cues (standard matches)

Outside the event, caches still spawn and the audio remains the most reliable way to find them.

Step 1: Patrol outskirts, rural ground, and quieter lanes rather than dense POIs. The ticking is easier to isolate without vehicle noise or firefights masking it.

Step 2: When you catch the ticking, stop and rotate slowly to center the sound. Advance a few steps at a time to triangulate; caches often sit just off the path in brush.

Step 3: Check low shrubs, fence lines, and the bases of walls or rocks. Containers are small and can be partially obscured, so rely on sound until you’re nearly on top of it.

Step 4: Loot and move. Even in normal conditions, lingering exposes you to other Raiders closing on the same audio cue.

Check reliable Raider container spots (blueprint hunting)

If you’re specifically chasing weapon blueprints, hit known container spawn pockets that commonly include Raider Caches or weapon cases.

Dam Battlegrounds — highway end gap

Step 1: Head to the raised highway’s broken end between Raider Outpost East and East Broken Bridge. There’s a gap beneath the end that regularly spawns Raider containers.

Step 2: Approach via the zipline from the ground for a safe climb. Alternatively, drop from the highway and hold vault Spacebar to catch the ledge on the way down.

Step 3: Loot the backpack/box spawns in the nook. Expect ammo, meds, utility items, and a chance at weapon blueprints; a weapon case may also appear with a guaranteed gun.

Buried City — edge-of-map loot room

Step 1: Route to Marano Station on the outer edge of Buried City. This quieter spot frequently rolls a few rare caches or containers inside.

Step 2: Breach the door to the loot room and clear quickly. The breach is loud and can draw attention on the compact map.

Step 3: Sweep the room for caches and containers, extract or relocate immediately after looting to avoid third parties.

Complete “Raider cache dug up” or “Dig up Raider stash” tasks

Task progress triggers when you loot a Raider Cache—there’s nothing to dig. During Uncovered Caches, you can finish these challenges in a single raid since spawns are plentiful and easy to spot or hear.

Step 1: Prioritize a match with Uncovered Caches to stack multiple completions rapidly. The audio and flag markers reduce search time significantly.

Step 2: If the event isn’t active, run a light route focused on audio scanning in rural areas. Plan a direct extract once you’ve looted the required number for the challenge.

What you can find in Raider Caches

Expect practical supplies—quick‑use items, ammo, and weapons—plus a chance at attachments. Raider containers and weapon cases near these cache spots can also roll weapon blueprints, so sweeping known spawn pockets is an efficient blueprint farm strategy.

Stick to audio, leverage the Uncovered Caches condition when it appears, and fold the Dam highway gap or Buried City edge room into your routes. You’ll start turning up Raider Caches—and blueprints—far more often.
