How to Get Every Pet and Reward in Adopt Me's Sugar Festival Event

Adopt Me's Sugar Festival Event — commonly called Sugarfest — launched on March 13, 2026, and runs through April 6, 2026. The event transforms Adoption Island into a candy-coated playground with three distinct minigames, a new event currency called Candy Eggs, and four limited-time pets ranging from Uncommon to Legendary. A post-event wagon will stick around until April 10, letting you spend leftover Candy Eggs on most purchasable items (excluding the Candy Chisel).

Quick answer: Play Cocoa Float to farm Candy Eggs, roll Sugar Dice in the Game of Sweets to earn Gumballs for the Gumball Caterpillar, chisel through seven layers at Candy Cliffs for the Gummy Guana, buy the Cocoadile for 14,000 Candy Eggs at nighttime, and purchase the Candicorn for 1,000 Robux.

Candy Eggs — The Event Currency

Candy Eggs fuel almost every purchase during Sugarfest. You earn them by floating down Cocoa River, landing on reward spaces in the Game of Sweets, and completing tasks on the Task Board. Every pet need you fulfill while the event is active also grants 200 Candy Eggs, so simply taking care of your pets contributes to your total. If you want to accelerate things, Candy Eggs can also be purchased with Robux through an in-game exchange.

Cocoa Float — Farming Candy Eggs on the River

Jump into the river surrounding Adoption Island, and your character automatically hops onto an inflatable donut. Candy Eggs float on the water's surface, and each one you grab is worth 18 Candy Eggs. Steer around the moving Cocoadiles that patrol the river during the daytime — colliding with one knocks you backward and costs you some of your collected eggs.

The eggs on the river respawn every in-game day, with a cap of 3,006 Candy Eggs per spawn cycle. After finishing a run, head to the riverbank near Mayor Amanda's area to collect your reward pile. You can repeat the activity as often as you like, making Cocoa Float the most reliable daily source of event currency.

The Cocoadile pet only appears for purchase at the campfire near the Candy Egg collection spot during nighttime. If you don't see it, wait for the in-game clock to shift.

Game of Sweets — Rolling Dice for Gumballs

The Game of Sweets is a board-game minigame accessible through a teleporter next to the Nursery. Your avatar becomes a game piece on the board, and you move by equipping a Sugar Dice, then clicking and jumping to roll it. The number you land on (1–6) determines how many spaces your piece advances. Depending on the space, you might receive 100 or 1,000 Candy Eggs, a bonus Sugar Dice, or a Candy Chisel.

A hidden jackpot space exists on the board and changes position every real-life day. Landing on it rewards four bonus Sugar Dice and 500 Candy Eggs. The jackpot location is the same for all players on a given day, so coordinating with friends can help you target it with a Custom Caramel Dice.

Step 1: Claim your free Sugar Dice, which resets every 24 hours. You can also earn additional dice by completing tasks on the Task Board — expect around four extra rolls per day from tasks alone.

Step 2: Equip the dice and jump to roll. Your game piece moves the corresponding number of spaces, and you receive whatever reward sits on the landing tile.

Step 3: Complete a full lap around the board (20 spaces) to earn one Gumball. Collect five Gumballs total, and they automatically transform into the Ultra-Rare Gumball Caterpillar pet.

Completing three daily Task Board objectives also awards a Custom Caramel Dice, which lets you choose the exact number of spaces to move. These are extremely valuable for targeting specific tiles — especially the jackpot space or a tile that would complete your lap.

Candy Cliffs — Chiseling for the Gummy Guana

Candy Cliffs is located on the side of Adoption Island near the Toy Shop and Dealership. Talk to the NPC Scottie to learn the rules, or just start swinging your Candy Chisel at the gummy wall. Each chisel breaks through one layer, and there are seven layers total. Spots light up on the wall to show where you need to click — hit them at the right time to chip away the candy.

As you clear each layer, you pick up intermediate rewards like Bucks, Custom Caramel Dice, Tiny Age Potions, and Honey Candies. After the seventh and final layer crumbles, the Rare Gummy Guana pet is freed and added to your inventory.

Candy Chisels cost 6,500 Candy Eggs each from Scottie's shop, meaning the full seven-chisel run costs 45,500 Candy Eggs if you buy every chisel outright. You can offset that cost by earning free chisels from the Game of Sweets board.

Tips for Efficient Farming

The Gumball Caterpillar is the most time-gated reward because it depends on accumulating dice rolls over multiple days. Log in daily to claim your free Sugar Dice, complete three Task Board objectives for a Custom Caramel Dice, and use any bonus dice you earn from board spaces or Candy Cliffs layers. With roughly four to five rolls per day, you can finish a lap every few days and collect all five Gumballs well before April 6.

For raw Candy Egg income, Cocoa Float is your bread and butter. Run the river every time the eggs respawn (each in-game day cycle) and pick up your pile from the riverbank. Combine that with the 200 Candy Eggs per pet need, and you'll accumulate currency steadily without needing to spend Robux.

The event runs for just over three weeks, so there's enough time to unlock everything if you play regularly. Prioritize the Gumball Caterpillar early since it's the only reward that can't be rushed with currency, and spend your Candy Eggs on Candy Chisels first if you want the Gummy Guana before turning your attention to cosmetics.
