How to Get the Megazord Mythic in Fortnite (v37.30)
FortniteDetailed to reach Zordon, earn the Medallion, and use every Megazord ability.

The Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers event in Fortnite (v37.30) adds a match event where Zordon summons the Megazord after the second storm circle. The first player to reach and interact becomes the pilot, while attackers on the ground can still earn powerful rewards. Competitive note: the Megazord Medallion and Rita Repulsa’s Boon do not appear in Ranked or tournaments.
Become the Megazord mid‑match
Step 1: Drop near the center of the island. Central positioning cuts travel time once the Megazord alert appears, raising your chance to reach Zordon first.
Step 2: Wait for the “Megazord Incoming” announcement after the second storm circle closes. This audio/visual alert tells you the spawn is active.

Step 3: Scan the sky for the Megazord forming and mark its spawn on your map. Planning a straight route reduces detours and delays.

Step 4: Use fast traversal to rush the spawn. Cars, movement items, and Shockwave Grenades close distance quickly and outpace other squads.

Step 5: Head to the Megazord’s feet and locate Zordon’s interface. Approaching the base reliably puts you within interact range first.

Step 6: Interact to pilot the Megazord. Use your platform’s interact input to claim control the moment the prompt appears.

Step 7: Coordinate with your squad once inside. Teammates can play around your position and objectives while you handle threats as the Megazord.

Step 8: Prioritize the Giant Queen objective while monitoring third parties. Clearing the PvE target quickly limits the time enemies have to collapse on your position.
Earn ground rewards if someone else pilots
Step 1: Engage the Megazord from cover with sustained fire. Your goal is to accumulate damage without getting caught by melee or stomp ranges.

Step 2: Keep shooting even if you can’t secure the elimination. Dealing any damage grants Rita Repulsa’s Boon, which feeds you ammo over time to maintain pressure.

Step 3: Aim to be the top damage dealer on the Megazord. The player who contributes the most damage receives the Megazord Medallion.

Step 4: Use the Megazord Medallion for intel. It periodically scans and marks nearby players, and those marks persist for 15 seconds, helping you time third‑party pushes and safer rotations.
Step 5: Remember competitive rules. The Boon and Medallion do not appear in Ranked or tournament playlists, so adapt your plan accordingly.
Megazord abilities and controls

,Xbox: RT
,PC: Left‑click
. - Tank Cannons (mid/long range): Two explosive shots at 45 damage each (90 total). Controls:

Pilot tips: win fights faster and take less damage
- Open with Scanner before committing. Knowing exact positions reduces wasted movement and prevents overextending into crossfire.
- Use Cannons to soften distant squads. One volley forces enemy heals and slows their collapse while you reposition.
- Save Sword Slash for guaranteed connects. Swing when enemies are trapped by terrain, stunned by explosions, or caught exiting cover.
- Stomp at choke points. Doors, ramps, and low walls concentrate enemies where the stomp radius reliably hits.
- Keep rotating after each elimination. Constant movement lowers the chance of being focus‑fired by multiple teams.
Counterplay: safer ways to fight the Megazord
Step 1: Fight from mid‑range with cover. You’ll avoid Sword/ Stomp ranges while denying easy Cannon lines of sight.
Step 2: Split angles with your squad. Forcing the Megazord to turn repeatedly lowers its damage uptime on any single player.
Step 3: Time peaks between Scanner cycles. Relocate after you’re marked, then re‑engage from a new lane to break target tracking.
Step 4: Maintain fire to secure the Medallion. Even if another team finishes the Megazord, your total damage can still win the reward.
