How to Get the Sachet in Pokémon Legends Z-A and Evolve Spritzee

The Sachet is an evolution item in Pokémon Legends: Z-A that exists for a single purpose: evolving Spritzee into Aromatisse through a trade. If you're trying to complete the Pokédex, you'll need at least one, and the game doesn't make them easy to come by. Unlike evolution stones that show up in shops or scattered across Wild Zones, the Sachet has extremely limited availability.

Quick answer: Complete Side Mission 10, "Skiddo's Fragrant Leaves," to receive two Sachets. This is the primary guaranteed method. The only other option is a rare postgame reward from the Infinite Z-A Royale.

Side Mission 10 — Skiddo's Fragrant Leaves

The most reliable way to obtain the Sachet is through Side Mission 10. This quest becomes available after you finish Main Mission 06 (Reaching Rank X), making it accessible relatively early in the story. The quest-giver is an NPC named Odette, who stands on Vernal Avenue in the southern part of Lumiose City, just south of the Vernal Pokémon Center.

Step 1: Catch a Skiddo. You can find them in Wild Zone 3, where they spawn frequently. It shouldn't take long to encounter one.

Step 2: Add Skiddo to your active party and return to Odette on Vernal Avenue. Simply speaking to her with Skiddo in your party completes the mission. You won't lose the Skiddo afterward.

Step 3: Collect your reward — two Sachets. That's enough to evolve one Spritzee and have a spare for trading or a second evolution if needed.

Note: Be careful not to sell your Sachets. The Sachet is not available for purchase at any shop in Lumiose City, including the Racine Construction building where other evolution items like the King's Rock can be bought. If you accidentally sell both Sachets, your only remaining option is grinding the postgame tournament, which is far less reliable.

Infinite Z-A Royale — Postgame alternative

After completing the main story, the Infinite Z-A Royale becomes available as a repeatable battle challenge. The Sachet can drop as a reward from this mode, but it's a rare pull. Players who have farmed the Infinite Royale report receiving large quantities of training items like Protein and Calcium long before a Sachet ever appears. If you've already used or sold your Side Mission 10 Sachets, this is technically an option, but expect to spend a significant amount of time grinding battles with no guarantee of a quick result.

How to use the Sachet to evolve Spritzee

The Sachet serves exactly one function in Pokémon Legends: Z-A. Give it to a Spritzee as a held item, then trade that Spritzee to another player. The evolution into Aromatisse triggers automatically once the trade completes. There is no other way to evolve Spritzee — it cannot level up or use any alternative method to reach Aromatisse.

To find a Spritzee, explore Lumiose City and look near market stalls and small booths. Spritzee tends to perch on top of these structures and doesn't have a fixed spawn point, but it appears throughout the city with enough regularity that you'll encounter one by walking around. The Pokédex describes it as a Fairy-type that "lives in high places" and is "often seen near market stalls."

What to do if you sold or lost your Sachets

This is a common frustration for players pushing toward Pokédex completion. The Sachet looks unremarkable in your inventory, and it's easy to sell it without realizing what it does. If that happens, you have two realistic paths forward. The first is grinding the Infinite Z-A Royale in the postgame and hoping for a Sachet drop. The second — and often faster — approach is trading with another player online. You can use the game's Link Trade feature to arrange a swap with someone who has a spare Sachet or who is willing to trade you an Aromatisse directly for Pokédex registration purposes.

Since only one Pokémon in the entire game requires the Sachet, many players who completed Side Mission 10 will have an extra one sitting unused. Trading communities are generally willing to help, especially if you can offer a similarly scarce item like a Metal Coat or Whipped Dream in return.

The Sachet's scarcity is unusual compared to most evolution items in Pokémon Legends: Z-A, so the best advice is straightforward: do Side Mission 10 as soon as it unlocks, hold onto both Sachets, and don't sell them under any circumstances.
