How to Get Yvonne in Arknights: Endfield

Yvonne is a 6-star Cryo handcannon user in Arknights: Endfield, built as a high single-target DPS with heavy crit scaling and Solidification-based crowd control. She’s also a limited character, so the way she appears on banners is tightly controlled.

Where Yvonne comes from in Version 1.0

Yvonne is a Version 1.0 limited operator tied to her own Chartered Headhunting banner, Hues of Passion. She is not part of the permanent standard 6-star pool.

How Yvonne’s Hues of Passion banner works

Yvonne’s primary access point is the Chartered Headhunting banner Hues of Passion, which runs in late February to mid‑March 2026 in Version 1.0. The banner uses the same limited structure as the other 1.0 character banners:

  • A soft pity system that ramps 6-star odds as you approach 80 pulls on that banner.
  • A 50/50 between the featured 6-star and the shared pool when a 6-star appears.
  • A separate banner progress counter that unlocks a guaranteed copy at 120 pulls.

Two counters are active when you roll:

  • Pity counter tracks how many pulls since your last 6-star. This resets every time a 6-star appears, regardless of whether you win or lose the 50/50.
  • Banner counter tracks total pulls on that specific banner. It never resets while the banner is live and is what matters for the 120-pull exchange.

Reaching 120 pulls on Hues of Passion lets you redeem Yvonne directly, even if every previous 6-star was off-rate. The 6-star you redeem is not a gacha roll; it doesn’t touch your pity counter.

Getting Yvonne early as an off-rate 6-star

There’s a second path to Yvonne that doesn’t wait for her own banner. In Version 1.0’s launch rotation, losing the 50/50 on limited banners can send you to a pool that includes the standard 6-stars plus the other two 1.0 limiteds.

During Laevatain’s starting banner and the following Gilberta banner, that shared off-rate pool can randomly produce Yvonne. That’s how players are ending up with her “early” before Hues of Passion is even live.

A useful detail: the off-rate pool when you lose the 50/50 is described as a 1-in-7 chance to land specifically on Yvonne on those early banners. That’s on top of needing to lose the 50/50 in the first place, and usually at or near pity. It’s possible, but the odds are harsh.

When this happens, your pity is consumed by that 6-star, and your pity counter resets. Your banner counter, however, keeps going; if you keep pulling, you can still reach 120 and exchange for the current featured limited as normal.

Why rerolling for Yvonne now is a bad plan

Some players are tempted to reroll accounts until Yvonne appears as an early off-rate 6-star. On paper that sounds appealing. In practice, it’s a bad trade of time for odds.

To get Yvonne through rerolling on the launch banner rotation, several conditions have to stack:

  • You need to reach 6-star pity on a fresh account, which usually means dozens of pulls.
  • You must first lose the 50/50 on the banner’s featured 6-star.
  • Within the off-rate pool, you then need to hit the specific 1-in-7 slot that corresponds to Yvonne.

That 1‑in‑7 figure only applies after the 50/50 loss; overall odds per account are far lower. With rerolls taking around an hour each, people are looking at hours or even days of constant play to see a single success, with no guarantee.

Waiting for Hues of Passion is much more efficient: all of your pulls then are pointed directly at a banner where she’s the featured rate-up and exchange reward, instead of hoping to be the unlucky winner of a niche off-rate outcome.

How pity, 50/50, and the 120 guarantee interact

Yvonne’s banner follows the same limited system that Laevatain and Gilberta use, so it’s worth understanding the interactions clearly:

  • Every 6-star resets pity. If you pull a 6-star at 11 pity, your next 6-star starts counting again from zero, even if you lost the 50/50.
  • You can lose every 50/50 up to 120. The system never “forces” a win after a loss. You might lose several 50/50s in a row and still get Yvonne only by cashing out the 120 exchange.
  • The 120 exchange ignores pity. When you redeem Yvonne at 120 banner pulls, it doesn’t reset or change your pity; it simply gives you the character.
  • Banner progress is per-banner. When Hues of Passion ends, its banner counter disappears. Progress doesn’t carry into the next limited banner.

That design explains why players can pick up Yvonne off-rate early and still guarantee Laevatain or Gilberta at 120 on their own banners, and vice versa.

Is Yvonne on the standard banner?

Yvonne is not treated as a permanent standard 6-star. In Version 1.0, she appears in these ways only:

  • As the featured 6-star on her limited Chartered Headhunting banner, Hues of Passion.
  • As part of the special off-rate 6-star pool on other Version 1.0 Chartered Headhunting banners, when you lose the 50/50.

What to do if you like Yvonne

For most players who want Yvonne, the cleanest path is straightforward.

Step 1: Avoid burning limited currency trying to “lose” to her off-rate on earlier banners. Treat early appearances as pure luck, not a strategy.

Step 2: Save limited pulls and plan to spend them during Hues of Passion, where she is the featured unit and can be directly exchanged at 120 pulls.

Step 3: If you’re a light spender on mobile or PC, top-ups can be purchased through the in-game store tied to your Gryphline account; use the platform’s official payment flow in the launcher or respective app store.

With that approach, every limited ticket you earn between launch and late February pushes you closer to a guaranteed copy of Yvonne instead of being scattered across banners where she’s only a slim, off-rate possibility.

Yvonne is built to be a long-term Cryo DPS investment, with strong scaling from Critical Rate, Cryo damage, and Basic Attack bonuses. Her banner timing, shared off-rate behavior, and the 120-pull safety net are all structured so that saving for her proper run is vastly more efficient than gambling on reroll luck in the early weeks.
