How to unlock Unfettered Rope Dart in the secret cellar
Step 1: Go to the Li Zi Xing Yun Secret Cellar in the Ghostlight Market. It sits west of the Ghostlight Market boundary stone. Speak to Tianyan and pay 999 Coins to begin the quest instance.
Step 2: After the teleport, turn right at the fire pit and follow the path. Keep moving until you reach the lantern over the water.
Step 3: Dive in at the lantern and swim forward. At the split, take the left side first for the first chest, then return and continue through the right path.
Step 4: Resurface and move along the right-hand path. At the cliff edge, eliminate the enemy below before advancing.
Step 5: Cross the bridge only after the patrolling guard turns away. He does not patrol across the full bridge, which makes the takedown timing straightforward.
Step 6: Enter the hallway ahead and hide behind the boxes. Wait for the next patrol to turn his back, then remove him and continue deeper into the cellar.
Step 7: Move forward, turn right, then follow the path and turn left at the end. Climb the ladder there for the second chest.
Step 8: Return to the previous area and enter the large room. Drop onto the nearest bookshelf, then use Celestial Seize to reach the third chest.
Step 9: Jump to the next bookshelf and watch the patrol pattern below. Take out the stationary guard first, then the moving guard after he passes into a safe position.
Step 10: Leave the room, turn right, and dive into the water. Swim left underwater, resurface behind the enemies, remove both guards, collect the next chest, and move on.
Step 11: Continue through the route until you reach another fire pit. Clear the guard there before crossing.
Step 12: Dive behind the waterfall and swim right to the fifth chest. After opening it, swim toward the stairway marked by torches and resurface there.
Step 13: Climb the stairs and wait for the two patrols at the top to separate. Remove the left guard first, then the right one once each has turned away.
Step 14: Look south for the large tree beyond the small bridge. Eliminate the nearby patrol, jump to the tree, then climb up and clear the guards around the sixth and final chest.
Step 15: After the last chest, look left for the stairway across the water. Swim over, head up the stairs, move left, then continue up the stone steps.
Step 16: Stand on the blue circle at the end and steal the martial art. That is the exact trigger that grants Unfettered Rope Dart.
How to know the unlock worked
The unlock is complete when the martial art theft succeeds on the blue circle at the end of the cellar route. At that point, Unfettered Rope Dart is added as your martial art unlock.

Unfettered Rope Dart can also unlock through Nine Mortal Ways. Joining the sect and completing its initiation path grants access to the martial art without using the secret cellar theft route.
