The payoff is one of the strongest units currently in the game, with base damage north of 594K and two passives that reward varied attack rotations. Here's exactly how to get it done.

Quick answer: Roll Ichiga (True Release) from the Special Banner, evolve it into Ichiga (Savior), obtain and complete the Spirit Mask through four quests in the Underworld Dungeon, then use the Complete Spirit Mask plus Essence Stones at the Evo altar to unlock Ichiga (Moonless).

Evolve Ichiga (True Release) into Ichiga (Savior)

Before anything else, you need the base unit. Ichiga (True Release) is available through the Special Banner, which costs Gems to roll. Once you have the unit, head to the Evolve point of interest and use the following materials to create Ichiga (Savior).

The Horns of Salvation are the bottleneck here. You'll need to run Kuinshi Palace Act 2 repeatedly until you collect all 12. Once the evolution completes, the real grind begins.

Four Spirit Mask Quests to Earn the Complete Spirit Mask

Having a Spirit Mask isn't enough. You need to complete four quests tied to it, which transforms the item into a Complete Spirit Mask. Each quest tests a different aspect of your roster and patience.

Quest 1 — Use Spirit Collector's Ability 20 Times

Step 1: Enter the Underworld Dungeon mode and place any units adjacent to the Soul Collector Towers on the map.

Step 2: Rack up 20 kills near a Tower to charge it, then activate the Spirit Collector's ability. That counts as one use.

Step 3: Repeat the process across multiple runs until you've triggered the ability a total of 20 times. This is time-consuming but straightforward — just keep running the Dungeon and positioning units near the Towers.

Quest 2 — Sacrifice Deciever (Monster)

This quest requires you to build a specific unit and then sacrifice it.

Step 1: Purchase the Deciever unit from the Dungeon Shop for 500 Hollow Tokens.

Step 2: Acquire a Fused Spirit Orb. You can buy one from the Dungeon Shop for another 500 Hollow Tokens, or farm it as a 10% drop from the Underworld Dungeon.

Step 3: Head to the Evolve POI and evolve Deciever into Deciever (Monster) using these materials:

Step 4: Sacrifice the newly evolved Deciever (Monster) to the Spirit Mask to complete the quest.

Quest 3 — Find the Correct Sword in the Remembrance Trial

Step 1: Press the use button on the Spirit Mask to enter the Remembrance Trial.

Step 2: You'll land on a map with multiple swords. After clearing each wave of enemies, you must choose one of five swords.

Step 3: Use a process of elimination. Incorrect choices from previous waves narrow down the options. Clear waves, pick carefully, and eliminate wrong swords round by round until you identify the correct one.

Quest 4 — Sacrifice 30 Mythics or Higher

The simplest quest of the four. Feed 30 units of Mythic rarity or above to the Spirit Mask. If you've been playing for a while, you likely have spare Mythics sitting in your inventory. Dump them all in and move on.

Once all four quests are done, the Spirit Mask converts into the Complete Spirit Mask.

Whenever this unit or any ally performs an attack that differs from the previous attack used, damage is buffed by 50% for 30 seconds (non-stacking). When Ichiga (Moonless) uses a Basic Attack, it doubles any percentage-based damage buff currently active on itself until the next Basic Attack, then strips all buffs. This does not interact with Constant Buffs. If no buffs are active when a Basic Attack fires, the unit instead grants itself a 50% damage buff lasting 60 seconds.

Passive — Shining Bright for Everyone

Every Follow Up attack cleanses all Status Effects and Debuffs from the unit. Each unique attack performed by Ichiga (Moonless) or its allies increases the damage enemies take from Follow Up attacks by 10%. Killing an enemy grants a stacking 5% damage buff (capping at 50%) for 40 seconds.
