Update: We found 10 new Midnight Racing: Tokyo codes on April 19, 2026 and added them to the list.

Midnight Racing: Tokyo is a devGem racing experience on Roblox built around Japanese street and touge driving, where yen funds new cars, engine work, suspension tuning, and cosmetic changes. Promo codes drop yen straight into your account, and a few unlock extra content like classic maps or the hidden Shirakawa Touge route.

Working Midnight Racing: Tokyo codes

These codes are currently active in Midnight Racing: Tokyo. Enter them exactly as written, since some use numbers in place of letters.

How to redeem codes in Midnight Racing: Tokyo

The redemption flow sits on the main hub screen, before you enter any track. Codes are not case-sensitive, but entering them exactly as written avoids any ambiguity.

Step 1: Launch Midnight Racing: Tokyo on Roblox and wait until the hub screen loads with the main menu buttons visible at the top.

Step 2: Select the Promo Code tab. A text field labeled Enter Promo Code appears.

Step 3: Type or paste a code into the field. Watch for substitutions like SH1R4K4W4, which uses the digit 1 and the digit 4 instead of letters.

Step 4: Press and hold the Hold To Submit button until it completes. The reward applies immediately, and yen codes bump your garage balance on the spot.

How the special codes work

A few entries behave differently from the standard yen drops and are worth understanding before you use them.

timemachine2018 teleports your character to Classic Tokyo, an earlier version of the map, and awards a badge on first redemption.

??? opens a short riddle window in place of a reward. Solving it reveals that SH1R4K4W4 is the follow-up code, which then grants access to the Shirakawa Touge mountain route and its badge.

DataRecover is a recovery tool added after a 2023 data loss incident. Entering it stages a restore of vehicles that were lost from your garage. You must then enter drconfirm to finalize the restore. Important constraints to know before confirming:

  • Recovered vehicles cannot be sold, including any that get overwritten during restore.
  • If you already own a car that also exists in your recovery file, the recovered build will overwrite your current build for that car.
  • Vehicles not present in the recovery file remain untouched.

Only run DataRecover if you actually experienced lost data, since the overwrite behavior is irreversible.

Where new codes come from

Developer devGem releases new codes around milestones, content updates, and seasonal events. The primary drop points are the official devGem Discord server and the studio's X account. Codes usually appear first in Discord announcements tied to an update or community milestone, then propagate elsewhere.
