Mints change how a Pokémon’s nature affects its stats. Using a mint shifts the nature’s stat modifiers (raising one stat and lowering another) without changing the original nature text shown in the summary. Effects don’t stack—only one set of nature modifiers applies at a time.

Price and how to spot mint vendors

Every mint costs ₽20,000. Vendors are unmarked market stalls around Lumiose City; look for flower displays on the counter. You can also occasionally pick up mints as sparkling items on the ground or receive them from side missions, but stalls are the reliable way to get the exact mint you want.

Where to buy Modest Mint

Modest Mint (boosts Sp. Atk, lowers Attack) is sold at multiple flower stalls. Each of these stalls carries the same “special attacker” set: Modest, Mild, Rash, Quiet, and Serious.

Choosing the right mint for your build

  • Special attackers: Modest (Sp. Atk up, Attack down), or Timid if you value Speed over Attack reductions.
  • Physical attackers: Adamant (Attack up, Sp. Atk down) or Jolly (Speed up, Sp. Atk down).
  • Bulky walls: Bold/Impish/Calm/Careful depending on whether you need Defense/Sp. Def and which attacking stat you can afford to lower.

With each mint priced at ₽20,000, buy only what your team needs now. You can always circle back to these squares to round out late‑game builds.

If you only need a Modest Mint, head to Rouge Sector 6’s second flower stall or the third stall in Rouge Sector 1’s market. Jaune Plaza’s second stall is a reliable alternative with the same stock.
