Prerequisite — Temir's Request

Peregrine will not offer his commission until you have finished Temir's Request. If you speak to him and no dialogue option appears, check your quest log to confirm Temir's task is fully turned in. Once that's done, Peregrine's marker becomes active.

Completing Peregrine's Request

Step 1: Head to the Provisioner's Shop in the heart of Hernand town. Peregrine is sitting behind the bakery stall on Baker's Row. Interact with him to accept the commission. He explains that he wants to anonymously donate food to the local church.

Step 2: After the dialogue, pick up the bread basket. A quest marker for the Church of Hernand will appear on your map. Open the map before you leave so you can plot the most direct street route toward the church plaza.

You can sprint and jump while carrying the basket without any penalty. However, dropping it forces a restart of the delivery segment, so avoid actions that cause Kliff to release the item.

Step 3: Move through Hernand toward the church. You may run into hostile NPCs along the way. Engaging them slows you down and isn't necessary for the quest, so stick to the shortest path and use side alleys to dodge random street encounters.

Step 4: Enter the Church of Hernand and look for the caretaker standing near the altar. Interact with the caretaker to hand over the bread basket. The quest completes as soon as the delivery is confirmed.

📋
If your quest log still shows an outstanding step after delivering the bread, return to Peregrine at the bakery stall to formally close out the commission.
