Pixcoin Farming in Honkai Star Rail 4.0 — Where to Find Them in Planarcadia

Pixcoin is a collectible currency introduced in Honkai Star Rail 4.0 alongside the new Planarcadia world. Its primary purpose is to fuel the Nameless Wispae guide, a tracking tool that reveals the locations of hidden Jello cube–shaped creatures throughout the region. Spending 20 Pixcoins at the guide marks nearby Nameless Wispae on your map, saving you from combing every corner of Planarcadia on your own.

Quick answer: Pixcoins are found by exploring overworld areas in Planarcadia — primarily on streets and inside buildings — with a noticeable concentration near Nameless Wispae spawn points.

Where Pixcoins Spawn in Planarcadia

Pixcoins appear as pickups scattered throughout every explorable zone in Planarcadia. You will encounter them while walking through Duomension City, Graphia Academy, the "World's End" Tavern, and Dovebrook District. They tend to sit along main pathways, inside accessible buildings, and on elevated platforms you reach during normal exploration. There is no single farming spot that guarantees large quantities; instead, they accumulate naturally as you move through the world.

A useful pattern to keep in mind is that Pixcoins cluster around the same areas where Nameless Wispae hide. If you spot a Wispae or suspect one is nearby, check the surrounding streets and interiors — you will likely pick up several Pixcoins in the process. This creates a self-reinforcing loop where exploring for Wispae also restocks the currency you need to locate more of them.

How to Spend Pixcoins at the Nameless Wispae Guide

The Nameless Wispae guide is located at the Star Rabbit Game Console, a device shaped like a video game controller. You can find these consoles in each major area of Planarcadia. Interacting with the console and paying 20 Pixcoins activates the guide, which then highlights every Nameless Wispae position within that specific zone on your minimap.

Each activation only covers the area you are currently in. If you move to a different district — say from Graphia Academy to Dovebrook District — you will need to spend another 20 Pixcoins at the console in that new zone to reveal its Wispae locations. Budget your Pixcoins accordingly if you plan to sweep multiple areas in one session.

Why Collecting Nameless Wispae Matters

Nameless Wispae are unique creatures with individual personalities spread across all of Planarcadia's zones. There are over 50 in total across Version 4.0, distributed unevenly among the regions. Duomension City holds 20, Graphia Academy has 15, and both the "World's End" Tavern and Dovebrook District contain 10 each. They can appear in the overworld or inside Interplanar Jump instances.

Gathering all of them serves two purposes. First, each batch you collect lowers the difficulty of the Star Rabbit Game, a minigame tied to Planarcadia's progression. A lower difficulty means faster clears and quicker access to the minigame's reward pool. Second, completing the full collection rewards Stellar Jades and other upgrade materials — the same premium currency used for Warps.

Efficient Pixcoin and Wispae Farming Tips

Start each exploration session by opening treasure chests. Chests in Planarcadia grant Arcadian Tokens and occasionally drop Pixcoins or other local currencies, so they are worth prioritizing whenever you see one on the map. Clearing chests along your route means you arrive at each Star Rabbit Game Console with enough Pixcoins to activate the guide immediately.

Once the guide is active, follow its markers methodically rather than wandering. The Wispae themselves do not move, so you can plan a clean sweep through each zone. After collecting every marked Wispae, move to the next district and repeat the process. Because Pixcoins respawn during general exploration, you should have enough to activate the guide in each new area without needing to backtrack.

If you run low on Pixcoins before finishing a zone, simply continue exploring the streets and buildings nearby. The coins replenish through normal overworld pickups, so a short detour through unexplored alleys or rooms usually fills the gap.

Pixcoins are a small but essential part of Planarcadia's exploration loop. They cost nothing beyond your time, and spending them at the Star Rabbit Game Console turns a potentially tedious Wispae hunt into a straightforward checklist. Prioritize chest-opening and thorough exploration early, and you will rarely find yourself short on the currency when it counts.
