Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Mystery Gift codes (February 2026) — Latest working list

Mystery Gift in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is a built-in feature that lets you redeem time-limited codes and online distributions for cosmetic items, held items, and occasionally special Pokémon. As of late February 2026, only a small set of universal codes are still active, alongside an always-available online gift.

Current working Mystery Gift codes in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

The table below lists every serial code that is still usable now, with its reward and status. Codes are not region-locked and can be redeemed on any copy of Scarlet or Violet worldwide, but many rewards are version-exclusive.

CodeRewardStatus
STRACKSU1T Tracksuit outfit (only redeemable in Pokémon Scarlet) Working
VTRACKSU1T Tracksuit outfit (only redeemable in Pokémon Violet) Working

VB00KC0VER Violet Rotom Phone Case (only redeemable in Pokémon Violet) Working

In addition to these serial codes, one permanent gift is available through the “Get via Internet” option:

  • Mythical Pecha Berry — downloaded without a code via Mystery Gift. This requires that The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC is installed.

Expired Mystery Gift codes in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

The following serial codes have passed their redemption window and no longer work in-game. They are included for reference only, for example when checking old distribution histories or verifying why a code now fails.

All of those events have ended and cannot be reclaimed in Scarlet or Violet unless they return in new campaigns with new identifiers.

How to unlock the Mystery Gift feature

The Mystery Gift menu is not available immediately on a new save. To enable it in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet you must first reach a Pokémon Center and unlock the Poké Portal.

Step 1: Start a new game and play through the opening until you gain free movement on the main map and receive your starter. Progress the main story naturally; there is no separate requirement for Mystery Gift beyond normal early-game play.

Step 2: Continue until you arrive at the first Pokémon Center (in or near Los Platos, depending on your route). After your first interaction with the Pokémon Center staff, the Poké Portal option is added to your in-game menu.

Step 3: Open the main menu with the X button and confirm that “Poké Portal” now appears. Once it does, you have access to the Mystery Gift system and can begin redeeming codes and online gifts.

How to redeem Mystery Gift codes in Scarlet & Violet

Redeeming active serial codes requires only an internet connection; a paid Nintendo Switch Online membership is not needed.

Step 1: Ensure your Nintendo Switch is connected to the internet. From within Pokémon Scarlet or Violet, press X to open the main menu, then select Poké Portal.

Step 2: In the Poké Portal, scroll down and choose Mystery Gift. You will see four options:

  • Get via Internet
  • Get with Code / Password
  • Check Mystery Gifts
  • Check Poké Portal News

Step 3: For serial codes like STRACKSU1T or NE0R0T0MC0VER, select Get with Code / Password. Enter the code exactly as shown, including numbers and zeroes, then confirm. The game will connect and search for the associated gift.

Step 4: For gifts with no code (for example, the Mythical Pecha Berry), select Get via Internet. The game will display a list of all currently active online Mystery Gifts. Highlight the desired gift and confirm to download it.

Step 5: Wait until the download animation finishes and the confirmation message appears. Clothing and Rotom Phone cases are added directly to your customization menus, items are sent to the relevant Bag pocket, and Pokémon are sent to your party or Boxes depending on available space.

To verify what you have already redeemed, use the Check Mystery Gifts option on the same menu. This lists previous Mystery Gifts claimed on that save file.

When a code is valid and within its active period, the game always shows the gift name before final confirmation. If you do not see this preview and instead get an error, assume the code cannot currently be used and check whether it is expired, mistyped, or incompatible with your version.
