Beldum has a single habitat in Pokémon Legends Z-A, and it’s tucked away in Lysandre Labs beneath Lysandre Café. You won’t reach it until the story takes you there, and once you do, there’s a specific room that reliably spawns Beldum.

The Labs themselves feature other strong encounters (expect threats like Noivern and Houndoom as you move through corridors), but Beldum’s consistent appearances are concentrated in that purple-zone west room. Because access is tied to a required mission, you won’t miss the opportunity; just progress the story until you receive the key card and the objective to head down.

Beldum spawn behavior and what to expect

Inside the target room, you’ll find two overworld spawns that are usually both Beldum. On occasion, one may be an Alpha Beldum. There is also a small chance that a wild Metang appears in place of a Beldum. It’s unclear whether Metang itself can appear as an Alpha in this room.
