Eevee returns in Pokémon Legends: Z‑A, and you can grab one early if you know exactly where to look. The quickest shot is a rooftop in Lumiose City’s Bleu Sector during the opening hours. If you’d rather wait for a sure thing, there’s a late‑game Wild Zone with a consistent spawn.

Early Eevee location (Lumiose City rooftops, Bleu Sector 7)

Once Lumiose City opens up after the initial tutorial stretch, head to the Bleu Sector on the southwest side of the map. From the area between Hotel Z and the Pokémon Research Lab (Wild Zone 1), move left into Bleu Sector toward the pond and the Nouveau Café truck fast travel point.

Look for scaffolding to the left of the truck and start climbing. You’re aiming for the rooftop in Bleu Sector 7, just to the right of the Bleu Pokémon Center:

  • Climb the two ladders on the north side of the building.
  • At the narrow path, don’t go right—look left across a small gap for another ladder on a platform.
  • Press Y to dodge‑roll across the gap, then climb two more ladders to the roof.

If the spawn is active, an Eevee will be waiting on this rooftop.

Spawn behavior, level, and capture tips

  • Time of day: This rooftop Eevee commonly appears during the day. If it’s not there, return later.
  • Level: Expect roughly level 16–17 in the early rooftop spot.
  • Approach: Crouch and sneak, then throw a Poké Ball at its back to boost the catch chance.
  • In battle: Weaken Eevee but avoid completely draining its HP. If it breaks out at zero HP, it can flee immediately.
  • Respawns: If it runs or is knocked out, it can take time to reappear. Resting on a bench advances time but doesn’t guarantee a respawn on the next cycle.

Guaranteed Eevee spawn (Wild Zone 19)

Later in the story, Wild Zone 19 in the northeast has a reliable Eevee spawn. You’ll unlock this zone after progressing through the campaign and ranking up.

  • Frequency: At least one Eevee per day–night cycle/transition.
  • Level: Around 48–50, so plan your team and items accordingly.
  • Ball choice: Ultra Balls materially improve your catch odds at this level.
  • Obstructions: If an Eevee is tucked between thorny vines, use a Fire‑type attack to burn them away—otherwise your throw can hit the obstacle instead of the target.

Other late‑game Eevee spots

  • Jaune District rooftop: Another Eevee can appear on a roof above Café Ultimo. You’ll need to advance the story until the nearby Holovator is operational. From there, break a spider web with a long‑range attack to form a bridge to the rooftop.
  • Post‑game Wild Zone 20: After finishing the campaign, evolved Alpha “Eeveelutions” can appear in the central area. These are high‑level variants, not base Eevee.
