Mints let you change how a Pokémon’s nature modifies its stats. Each Mint is named after a nature and applies that nature’s stat boosts and reductions to the Pokémon you use it on. They’re best used to align a Pokémon’s build with its intended role — for example, prioritizing Attack for physical sweepers or Speed for fast leads.

You don’t need Mints to progress the story. Treat them as a mid-to-late game tool for optimization, especially if you care about competitive builds or strict min-maxing.

Where to buy Mints in Pokémon Legends Z-A (street vendor location)

Mints are sold by street vendors clustered in a narrow alley. The spot isn’t labeled on the map, but it’s near Wild Zone 3:

  • From the center of the map, head northwest.
  • Take the second right, continue straight, then take the next right into a tight alley with multiple stalls.
  • This alley sits close to Wild Zone 3, but a building blocks direct access; loop around the building that’s west of the zone to reach the vendors.

Look for stalls dressed with flowers resembling mint plants. Several vendors in this alley sell different Mints, and you’ll also find other useful item sellers nearby (like Berries).

Mint price in Pokémon Legends Z-A

Mints are expensive. Expect to pay around 20,000 each. Plan purchases around the builds you actually intend to use rather than buying a full set up front.

Should you use Mints early or wait?

Hold off early. The stat gains matter most once you’ve settled on a team and movesets. If money is tight, prioritize a single Mint to fix your main attacker or speed control. Another low-cost option early on is to catch a few readily available Pokémon and lean on a naturally favorable nature until you can afford targeted Mints.

Can you fix a starter nature?

Yes. If your starter rolls a nature you don’t like, you can change how its stats are modified later with a Mint. There’s no need to reset your game just to chase a specific starter nature.

Bottom line: find the vendor alley near Wild Zone 3, budget for the high price, and buy only the Mints that align with the roles you care about. That approach keeps costs down while delivering the stat profiles your team needs.
