“The Many Flowers of Flabebe” is a straightforward side mission with a clear payoff: bring five color variants of Flabebe to a stylist in Lumiose City and walk away with cash, a Rare Candy, and a slate of new hair colors. The catch is knowing where each color actually spawns across gardens, courtyards, and rooftops.

Objective and how progress works

Your task is to catch and show Vivace one Flabebe of each flower color: Red, Yellow, Orange, Blue, and White. Each time you present a new color, you immediately unlock a matching hair color for character customization. After you’ve shown all five, three extra colors unlock as a set.

Flabebe typically appear in city gardens and flower beds at ground level, but several spawns are tucked away on rooftops. When you spot one, initiate a quick battle to soften it up, then throw a Poké Ball to capture.

Fast route to collect all five colors

  • Start at the Bleu District salon to set your return point.
  • Head south to the bridge near Wild Zone 6 for Yellow (often with Red nearby).
  • Climb to the roof near Wild Zone 6 for Orange (and another Yellow spawn). Sweep adjacent rooftops west of WZ6 if Orange doesn’t appear immediately.
  • Move toward Wild Zone 1: check the roof bordering WZ1 for Red, then the courtyard northeast of WZ1 for additional Red/Yellow if needed.
  • Pivot to Wild Zone 3: pick up common Red, and scan nearby rooftops/outskirts for Blue and White.
  • If Blue is still missing, hit the rooftops by Magenta Plaza and Academie Etoile. If White is still missing, wrap at the Vert Sector 3 courtyard where multiple spawn.

Return to Vivace after each new color if you want to unlock hair options as you go, or turn in all five at once.

Once you’ve registered each color, you don’t need to hold duplicates for the main campaign. After turn-in, you can release extras from your Boxes if you prefer to keep space clear.

Common pitfalls to avoid

  • Floette vs. Flabebe: White Floette can appear in the same courtyard as White Flabebe. The mission only counts Flabebe.
  • Rooftop checks: Blue and Orange spawns often sit on rooftops. If a color isn’t showing at ground level near a listed area, look up.
  • Spawn variance: If a color doesn’t appear immediately, sweep the adjacent block or revisit after a short detour. The listed spots consistently produce the right colors with brief respawn cycles.

With Vivace located and a reliable loop across Wild Zones 1, 3, and 6 plus a few key rooftops and courtyards, all five Flabebe colors come together quickly. Turn them in for the full hair palette and your cash and Rare Candy, then move on to the next set of errands across Lumiose City.
