Wild Zone 15 becomes available after completing Main Mission 19, which promotes you to Rank D following the battle with Ivor. Once unlocked, the zone is found on North Boulevard within the Jaune District.

Zone 15 splits its encounters by time: Bug-type Pokémon appear during the day, while Ghost-types take over at night. Two exceptions—Pumpkaboo and Larvitar—can show up at any time. Use the table below to plan efficient sweeps.

Alpha Pokémon in Wild Zone 15 (levels and timing)

Three Alphas patrol the zone. Their windows are fixed, and they’re all Level 52.

Once the area’s completion reaches 100%, regular spawns in Zone 15 gain roughly a 5–10% chance to appear as Alpha variants.

Larvitar on the Cafe Ultimo rooftop (how to get there)

Larvitar doesn’t roam the streets here—it spawns on the roof of Cafe Ultimo inside the Wild Zone. The route is outside-in:

  • Head to the adjacent building on Hibernal Avenue and use its Holovator to reach the upper level.
  • On the roof, you’ll see a web spanning to the Cafe Ultimo side. Strike the web with a Fire‑type move to unfurl it into a bridge.
  • Cross to the Cafe Ultimo rooftop and enter through the Zone 15 gate on that level to find Larvitar spawns.
Note: The Holovator only becomes operational after completing Side Mission 080: A Shocking Territorial Dispute, which itself unlocks during Main Mission 26. Zone 15 opens earlier (Main Mission 19), so rooftop access to Larvitar may require returning later if the lift isn’t active yet.

TM 052 Earth Power (Cafe Ultimo rooftop)

TM 052 Earth Power is also located on the Cafe Ultimo rooftop in Wild Zone 15. Use the same Hibernal Avenue Holovator and web-bridge route to reach it. If the Holovator is inactive, complete Side Mission 080 to restore it before trying again.

How to 100% Wild Zone 15

Zone 15 completion hinges on covering its time-gated spawns and the rooftop path. A clean route looks like this:

  • Day sweep: Check the western garden area for Scolipede, Whirlipede, and Beedrill. Pumpkaboo can appear at any time; pick it up during either sweep.
  • Night sweep: Return to the western garden area for Haunter and Shuppet. Again, Pumpkaboo remains available.
  • Rooftop run: Use the Hibernal Avenue Holovator and web-bridge to reach Cafe Ultimo’s roof for Larvitar. Grab TM 052 Earth Power while you’re there.
  • Alpha checks: Visit during the appropriate windows—Beedrill (day), Banette (night), and Gourgeist (any time) in their noted areas.

After you push the area to 100%, standard encounters across Zone 15 gain a small but meaningful chance (about 5–10%) to upgrade into Alpha forms, making return trips more rewarding.

Zone 15 is compact and predictable once you split it by time and remember the rooftop detour. Clear your daytime Bugs, swap to night for Ghosts, then take the Holovator route for Larvitar and Earth Power. When the completion bonus kicks in, quick loops can deliver surprise Alpha appearances without much extra effort.
