PRAGMATA release date, platforms, and early access bonuses

PRAGMATA is set to release on April 17, 2026, in most regions. Capcom moved the date forward from April 24, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2, with one notable exception: the Nintendo Switch 2 version in Japan and Asia still releases on April 24, 2026.

Quick answer: PRAGMATA releases on April 17, 2026, in most regions, while Nintendo Switch 2 in Japan and Asia remains scheduled for April 24, 2026.

PRAGMATA release date

Platform Release date Region note
PlayStation 5 April 17, 2026 Most regions
Xbox Series X|S April 17, 2026 Most regions
Steam April 16, 2026 Store date reflects Steam’s platform timing
Nintendo Switch 2 April 17, 2026 Most regions
Nintendo Switch 2 April 24, 2026 Japan and Asia

The small difference between April 16 on Steam and April 17 on Capcom’s regional release messaging is a platform timing issue, not a second delay. If you are buying on PC, the Steam store currently lists PRAGMATA with a release date of April 16, 2026.

PRAGMATA platforms

PRAGMATA is coming to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and Nintendo Switch 2. It is a single-player science-fiction action-adventure built around Hugh and his android companion Diana as they move through a lunar research station.

The game’s core hook is the mix of third-person action and hacking. Capcom describes it as a sci-fi action-adventure with a distinct hacking twist, and the demo messaging leans into that same idea by framing combat as something that uses both direct action and puzzle-like input.

PRAGMATA pre-order and early bird bonus

PRAGMATA is already available for pre-order in standard and Deluxe Edition versions. The standard digital pre-order includes the main game, while the Deluxe Edition adds the Shelter Variety Pack.

Bonus Included items Availability window
Early Bird Bonus Hugh Outfit - Neo Bushido, Diana Outfit - Neo Kunoichi PS5 / Xbox / Steam until April 23, 2026
Early Bird Bonus Hugh Outfit - Neo Bushido, Diana Outfit - Neo Kunoichi Nintendo Switch 2 until May 14, 2026

Those costumes are the same samurai- and ninja-inspired outfits previously tied to pre-order bonuses. Capcom now treats them as an early bird offer tied to when you obtain the digital version rather than only to a pre-launch purchase window.

Nintendo Switch 2 digital pre-orders in Europe and North America are being canceled automatically because of the date change, and those orders need to be placed again on Nintendo eShop.

PRAGMATA Deluxe Edition content

The Deluxe Edition bundles the full game with the Shelter Variety Pack. That add-on includes extra outfits, a weapon skin, background music tracks, Diana gestures, and a digital artwork library.

Deluxe Edition content Items
Hugh outfits Heavy Lifter, Lunar Cat
Diana outfits Mecha Builder, Fluffy
Weapon skin Grip Gun DS
Shelter BGM Memories Are You (Lo-fi Ver.), Dawn (EDM Ver.), Shelter (Jazz Ver.)
Diana gestures Drowsy, Pumped Up, Stepping
Extras Data Library - Artwork

The Shelter Variety Pack will also be sold separately after launch, so the Deluxe Edition is mainly about getting that bundle up front rather than securing content that is permanently exclusive.

PRAGMATA demo availability

A playable demo called PRAGMATA Sketchbook is out now. On Steam, it is listed as a free download and focuses on the game’s combat system and movement through the lunar research station. The demo supports English and Japanese voice, and some features may differ from the full release.

If you want a simple read on whether PRAGMATA feels like your kind of game, the demo is the clearest answer right now. It is built to show how the shooting and hacking systems work together rather than just offering a cinematic preview.

PRAGMATA system requirements on PC

For PC players, the current Steam requirements target Windows 11 and 16GB of RAM across both minimum and recommended specs. Storage is listed at 40GB.

Spec tier CPU GPU Target
Minimum Intel Core i5-8500 / AMD Ryzen 5 3500 GeForce GTX 1660 6GB / Radeon RX 5500 XT 8GB 1080p / 45 fps on Performance preset
Recommended Intel Core i7-8700 / AMD Ryzen 5 5500 GeForce RTX 2060 Super 8GB / Radeon RX 6600 8GB 1080p / 60 fps on Balanced preset

Ray tracing support has a higher graphics requirement. Capcom lists the Radeon RX 6700 XT 12GB or GeForce RTX 3060 12GB as the level needed for that feature. An SSD is recommended at both tiers.

Other release details that matter

On Steam, the game includes Denuvo Anti-tamper and lists a machine activation limit of five different PCs within a day. It also supports Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud, captions, HDR, Family Sharing, and in-app purchases.

If you are tracking PRAGMATA for a purchase date rather than just a release window, the key thing to remember is simple: April 17, 2026, is the date to watch in most places, April 16 is the Steam store date on PC, and April 24 still applies to Nintendo Switch 2 in Japan and Asia.
