Playstyle for Randy
- Set the line, then hold it: place Legitimate Slackness to block frontal fire and chip enemies with Electro ticks while reducing their ATK. Because Randy can’t move during the Barrier, pre-place where enemies and projectiles will be; tap the skill again to retract and reposition.
- Leverage DEF as offense: Special Gift scales Impact damage off DEF, breaks shields, and paralyzes enemies with no Shield points for 2s, opening a safe window for allies.
- Cycle Ultra Shields to stack team defense: each Impact grants Ultra Shield to teammates in 6m, triggering Cavalier Composure. Up to 10 stacks can build meaningful survivability over 10 seconds.
- Turn pressure into punishment: with Intron 1, absorbed projectiles add Overwork Grudge stacks back to attackers; Intron 4 makes Impact immediately cash out an Overwork Grudge damage tick; Intron 6 adds burst Electro based on current shield pools.
- Endurance upgrades matter: Well-Deserved Break refreshes the Barrier after heavy absorption, and Holdfast provides a flat +40% DEF aura when Randy is a Combat Partner—both reinforce the frontline role.
