Rocket League Frosty Fest 2025 rewards and how to unlock them

Rocket League’s Frosty Fest 2025 turns the usual winter event into a Harry Potter crossover, complete with Hogwarts house competition, house-themed boosts, and a new Aston Martin bundle. The event runs from December 18, 2025, at 4 PM PT to January 7, 2026, at 4 PM PT.

All of the limited-time rewards come from event challenges, so the only way to get them is to play before Frosty Fest ends.

Event overview and dates

Frosty Fest 2025 is a free seasonal event in Rocket League’s Season 21. Once it starts, every player who logs in is automatically assigned to one of the four Hogwarts houses and receives a matching Player Title such as “GRYFFINDOR” or “SLYTHERIN.”

The core pieces of the event are:

  • Timed challenges that unlock limited cosmetics and Golden Gifts.
  • Hogwarts House Rivalry, a global leaderboard where wins push your chosen house upward.
  • Item Shop content, including the Aston Martin Valhalla + Wizarding World bundle and a new Player Anthem.

Once Frosty Fest ends, the challenges disappear, and the items are no longer earnable.

How to efficiently clear the Frosty Fest 2025 challenges

Most objectives will complete naturally as you play, but a few are easy to miss if you do not pay attention to the requirements.

House scarf boosts (Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff) each sit behind different play patterns. The Gryffindor and Slytherin boosts favor big individual matches (using a lot of boost in one game, or hitting a high score), while Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff reward long-term participation and team play over many games.

The Sorting Hat Luxury Topper requires a larger XP total than the other objectives. XP goes up faster when you win, stay for the full match, and avoid abandoning games, so sticking to modes and ranks where you are comfortable helps.

Aerial goals only count when the game registers the shot as an “Aerial,” so you need to jump and hit the ball while off the ground. Extra mode playlists and casual 3v3 often create more aerial opportunities than 1v1.

The repeatable Golden Gift ’25 and Level Up challenges are pure volume grinds. If you want every Golden Gift, you need 75 completed online matches in total.

How the Hogwarts House Rivalry works

The Hogwarts House Rivalry runs on top of the normal Frosty Fest challenges and tracks which house performs best across the entire player base.

When you first log in during the event, Rocket League assigns you to Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, or Slytherin and gives you that house’s Player Title. Every win you earn while that title is equipped contributes to your house’s score.

House standings are visible on the official Rocket League Hogwarts House Rivalry page at rocketleague.com/hogwarts-house-rivalry.

How to change your house with Player Titles

You are not locked into the house you receive on login. House allegiance is controlled entirely through free Player Titles in the Item Shop.

Step 1: Open Rocket League and go to the Item Shop from the main menu. Look for the free Hogwarts house titles: GRYFFINDOR, SLYTHERIN, RAVENCLAW, and HUFFLEPUFF. Claim the one you want to represent.

Step 2: From the main menu, open your Profile and equip the Player Title for your chosen house. Wins now count toward that house in the Hogwarts House Rivalry.

You can swap titles at any time during the event. Only wins recorded while a specific house title is active will add to that house’s total.

When Frosty Fest 2025 ends, all players receive a fifth Player Title themed around the house that wins the rivalry, regardless of which house they backed during the event.

Aston Martin Valhalla + Wizarding World bundle

For players who want more overt Hogwarts branding on the field, the Item Shop carries the “Aston Martin Valhalla + Wizarding World” bundle during Frosty Fest 2025. It includes:

  • The 2025 Aston Martin Valhalla Car Body using the Breakout hitbox.
  • Four Decals built around the Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff crests.

The bundle costs 2,800 Credits. Because the car uses the Breakout hitbox, it shares the same collision model and general feel as Breakout, which matters if you are sensitive to car shapes in competitive play.

Music and Player Anthem for Frosty Fest 2025

Frosty Fest 2025 comes with a new featured track, “The Six Of Wands” by Caster, created for the event in collaboration with Monstercat. The song is available as a Player Anthem in the Item Shop, and it also appears in the Frosty Fest 2025 trailer on Rocket League’s official YouTube channel at youtube.com/watch.

Equipping the Player Anthem makes “The Six Of Wands” play in the arena when you score, just like any other anthem.

Frosty Fest has run every year since 2017, but the 2025 edition is the first to turn the event into a full Hogwarts rivalry with four competing houses. If you want house scarf boosts, the Sorting Hat, and Golden Gift ’25 Drops in your inventory, the only reliable plan is simple: equip your preferred title, queue into online matches, and keep playing until every challenge on the Frosty Fest card is checked off.
