The Glitterfrost Treasure Hunt is Royale High’s 2025 replacement for the usual Advent Calendar, dropping one limited-time chest every day from November 28 through December 25. Each chest appears in a different realm, lasts for 24 hours, and delivers a lump of diamonds and experience when you open it.
Glitterfrost Treasure Hunt overview
Glitterfrost 2025 layers a timed scavenger hunt on top of the wider seasonal update:
- A new Glitterfrost chest spawns every 24 hours at 12 PM EST.
- Chests can appear in any active realm except Luna Lagoon and the Intergalactic Trading Hub.
- Each chest exists for that day only; miss it, and you can’t claim its base reward later.
- There are 31 daily chests in total, but you only need to open 28 of them to qualify for an extra end-of-event reward.
On top of the guaranteed payout inside every chest, the event also tracks the fastest treasure hunters across all servers. The first three players to find the chest of the day receive substantial diamond bonuses distributed manually by the developers:
- 1st place – 50,000 diamonds
- 2nd place – 25,000 diamonds
- 3rd place – 10,000 diamonds
Those podium rewards sit on top of whatever you get from opening the chest itself, so everyone who reaches the chest still walks away with at least the base prize.

Day 1 Glitterfrost chest location (November 28)
The first Glitterfrost chest is placed in the newly redecorated Ice Castle version of Royale High Campus 2. It’s tucked into an icy cave just off the main entrance.
Step 1: From the main Royale High menu, pick the teleport option that sends you to Campus 2. This is the Glitterfrost-ified “Ice Castle” realm.
Step 2: When you spawn, you’ll be standing in front of the castle entrance, facing the main doors. Turn your camera to the left side of this area.
Step 3: Look for a cave opening set into the ice-covered terrain to the left of the entrance. It’s a noticeable gap in the rock with a frosty interior rather than another doorway into the castle.

Step 4: Walk or fly into this icy cave. The Glitterfrost chest for November 28 sits inside the cave, near the back of the space.
Step 5: Interact with the blue, crystal-studded chest to open it and claim your reward.

Opening the November 28 chest grants 4,000 diamonds, along with a chunk of XP that feeds into your level and related diamond payouts.
How to recognize a Glitterfrost chest
Glitterfrost event chests are visually distinct from the permanent chests scattered across Royale High’s campuses and hubs. That matters because permanent chests are still around, but only the Glitterfrost version counts toward the daily hunt and the 28-of-31 target.
- Color: Glitterfrost chests are blue, while standard chests around the school are typically pink.
- Detailing: The seasonal chest model is studded with crystal-like gems on the lid and around the body, emphasizing the frosty theme.
- Behavior: Event chests are temporary. Once the daily reset passes, that day’s Glitterfrost chest despawns and is no longer claimable.
Permanent chests do not disappear when you open them, though they can only be claimed once per account. In contrast, Glitterfrost hunt chests are tied to the event calendar rather than your account progression and vanish on schedule.

What Glitterfrost chests contain
Every Glitterfrost Treasure Hunt chest is built around the same core reward structure:
- A fixed diamond payout for opening the chest (4,000 diamonds on November 28).
- Experience points (XP), which contribute to levelling and the periodic level-up diamond rewards.
The design mirrors the value of long-standing chests in areas like Campus 4: instead of exclusive accessories in the chest itself, the event leans on currency and progression. The exclusive element comes from the tracking of the first three discoverers each day and the eventual bonus for players who reach at least 28 of the 31 event chests.
Developers announce the three fastest chest finders for each day on their social channels and credit the extra diamond prizes manually to those accounts.

Event timing and end date
The Glitterfrost Treasure Hunt runs throughout the late-2025 holiday period and is explicitly framed as a one-year replacement for an Advent Calendar.
- Start of daily chests: November 28, 2025
- Final daily chest: December 25, 2025
- Daily reset: 12 PM EST
When the calendar rolls over to December 25 and the final chest expires, the treasure hunt portion of Glitterfrost 2025 ends with it. At that point, no further daily Glitterfrost chests appear, and the exclusive 28-of-31 reward can be tallied against player accounts.
How permanent and returning content fits around Glitterfrost 2025
The treasure hunt is only one strand of the broader Glitterfrost 2025 update. Several realms have been redecorated, and older seasonal systems have been revived alongside it:
- Campus 2 Ice Castle: The classic campus is now an ice-covered castle with Glitterfrost theming, where the November 28 chest is hidden.
- Castle’s Heart: The central hall features the Glitterfrost Tree, returning badges such as “TIMBURRR!” and “Chimney Surfer!”, and a chimney chest that can be reached through a long fireplace climb.
- Caroling quests: The holiday questline from prior years has been re-enabled, adding more repeatable ways to earn rewards outside the treasure hunt.
- Snowglobe Summit and Snowboard Mountain: These winter spaces have come back with updated badges, while a Snowball Fight minigame adds a new team mode.
None of that content is required for the Glitterfrost Treasure Hunt itself, but it sits in the same seasonal window and uses many of the same decorative assets and UI changes, so expect visual and audio consistency across realms.
For the first day specifically, the key tasks are simple: load into Campus 2, check left of the castle entrance for the icy cave, and open the blue, gem-covered Glitterfrost chest inside to claim 4,000 diamonds and your first tick toward the 28-chest goal.
