Santa’s Stash is the seasonal shop sitting under the giant Christmas Tree in the Grow a Garden lobby. It’s the core hub for the Christmas event, trading your sheckles and community progress for limited-time pets, cosmetics, and powerful utility items.
Each reward in the shop is locked behind a shared Gifts Counter milestone, so the entire server’s progress matters. On top of that, the shop runs on a cooldown that can be shortened as players keep feeding Christmas-mutated plants into the Christmas Harvest event.
Where to find Santa’s Stash and how to open it
Step 1: Go to the center of the Grow a Garden lobby and look for the massive Christmas Tree with two elves standing in front of it.
Step 2: Approach the elf on the right, the one standing in front of the shop banner for Santa’s Stash.
Step 3: Press E to interact. This opens the Santa’s Stash window, where you can see all currently available items, their prices in sheckles, and whether you’ve hit the required Gifts Counter milestone.

From here, you can buy any unlocked item as long as you have enough sheckles, or hit the Restock button in the top-right corner if you want to force a refresh with Robux instead of waiting for the cooldown.
All items in Santa’s Stash (prices and milestones)
Santa’s Stash carries ten Christmas-themed items. Every purchase costs sheckles, but most of them also need the community Gifts Counter to reach a specific total before they even appear as buyable.
| Item | Price (Sheckles) | Gifts Counter milestone | Effect |
|---|---|---|---|
| Christmas Firework | 25,000 | None | Simple Christmas-themed firework for visual flair. |
| Gift Rat | 5,000,000 | 20,000 | Converts a random fruit into a Christmas gift. |
| Gift Basket | 10,000,000 | 50,000 | Instantly feeds all pets in your garden. |
| Christmas Crate | 15,000,000 | 100,000 | Christmas-themed cosmetic crate. |
| Christmas Present | 15,000,000 | 800,000 | Another Christmas-themed cosmetic crate with a different loot pool. |
| Yule Log | 20,000,000 | 2,000,000 | Placed as a cosmetic, grants temporary boosts to cooking and Christmas-related pets. |
| Santa’s Surprise Present | 30,000,000 | 5,000,000 | Contains Christmas-themed eggs and pets, including a chance at high-rarity rewards. |
| Penguin | 40,000,000 | 5,800,000 | Event pet that turns you into a belly-sliding penguin every 12 minutes; fruits collected gain the Arctic mutation. |
| Santa’s Stocking | 55,000,000 | 9,000,000 | Removes existing mutations on a plant and rerolls the rest of its traits. |
| Pet Shard HyperHunger | 80,000,000 | 11,000,000 | Gives a pet “hyper hunger,” dramatically increasing its hunger bar so it can be fed repeatedly for faster XP. |

How the Gifts Counter and Christmas Harvest unlock Santa’s Stash
Santa’s Stash isn’t just a standalone shop; it’s tied directly into the Christmas Harvest event that runs in the same lobby.
At the Christmas Harvest area, you hand in Christmas-mutated plants to an elf beside Santa’s sleigh. Each plant contributes event points based on rarity:
- Common: 1 point
- Uncommon: 2 points
- Rare: 3 points
- Legendary: 4 points
- Mythical: 5 points
- Divine: 6 points
- Prismatic: 7 points
- Transcendent: 8 points
Those points push the Gifts Counter forward for the whole server and unlock community rewards. Many of those rewards are exactly the milestones needed to make Santa’s Stash items purchasable, plus a few extra bonuses such as new weather events and free presents.

Key community unlocks tied directly to Santa’s Stash include:
- 20,000 points – Gift Rat appears in Santa’s Stash.
- 50,000 points – Gift Basket unlocks in Santa’s Stash.
- 100,000 points – Christmas Crate unlocks.
- 800,000 points – Christmas Present unlocks.
- 2,000,000 points – Yule Log unlocks.
- 5,000,000 points – Santa’s Surprise Present unlocks.
- 5,800,000 points – Penguin pet unlocks.
- 9,000,000 points – Santa’s Stocking unlocks.
- 11,000,000 points – Pet Shard HyperHunger unlocks.
Along the way, the event also drops free items and weather events, like Santa’s Surprise Presents at 85,000 and 6,400,000 points, Snow Day and Milk and Cookies weather, and a Mega Lollipop at 9,900,000 points. But for the shop itself, the important milestones are the ones listed above.
Santa’s Stash refresh timer and Restock button
Santa’s Stash runs on a global cooldown that determines how often its inventory refreshes for the server. At the start of the event, the refresh time is one hour. As the Gifts Counter climbs, that cooldown can be cut.
| Gifts milestone | Santa’s Stash cooldown | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Base (no milestone) | 60 minutes | Default refresh timer when the event begins. |
| 4,000,000 gifts | 45 minutes | First community reduction to the shop cooldown. |
| 8,200,000 gifts | 30 minutes | Second reduction; shop now refreshes twice as often as at launch. |
If you don’t want to wait on that timer, you can always use Robux:
Step 1: Open Santa’s Stash and look to the top-right corner of the window.
Step 2: Select the Restock button. This spends Robux to instantly refresh the shop’s inventory instead of waiting for the next scheduled refresh.

Restocking does not bypass Gifts Counter requirements; it only changes which offers are visible within the pool that your current milestones allow.
What’s inside Santa’s Surprise Present
Santa’s Surprise Present is the chase item of the event. You can buy it from Santa’s Stash once the Gifts Counter hits 5,000,000, but you can also earn it from individual Christmas Harvest contributions and from later community milestones.
Inside, you’ll find a mix of seasonal seeds and pets with different rarities:
- Cookie Stack (Common) – Christmas-themed seed for a basic festive plant.
- Snow Bunny (Common) – Every 1.45 minutes, eats a carrot for 1.55× sheckles value and gives all bunnies in your garden roughly 1000–2000 XP.
- Poinsettia (Uncommon) – Decorative Christmas seed that fits into holiday builds.
- French Hen (Uncommon) – Buffs Christmas-type plants in its radius with a size multiplier increase of about 0.44×.
- Antlerbloom (Legendary) – High-rarity Christmas seed, both decorative and valuable.
- Christmas Gorilla (Legendary) – Every ~4.5 seconds, grabs fruits with cold-type mutations and shaves about 83 seconds off a random cooking timer.
- Holy Berry (Mythical) – Late-game Christmas seed with strong stats.
- Krampus (Divine) – Powerful pet that, every ~9.5 minutes, consumes a share of your sheckles to “punish” the nearest player.
Because this box can roll Krampus and several of the best seasonal seeds and pets, it’s the single most valuable purchase in the shop for long-term progression.

Best Santa’s Stash items to buy first
Not every item in Santa’s Stash has the same impact on your garden. If your sheckles are limited, focus on the options that meaningfully change your progression or event efficiency.
1. Santa’s Surprise Present
Santa’s Surprise Present should be your top pick once it’s unlocked at 5,000,000 gifts.
- It’s the only reliable way to target seasonal seeds like Holy Berry and Antlerbloom during the event.
- It has a chance to drop Krampus, which is one of the highest-impact pets in the update.
- Duplicates of seeds and pets from the box still add value through extra plots, XP, or trading potential.
If you plan to spend a large chunk of sheckles during Christmas, this is where most of them should go.

2. Penguin
The Penguin pet unlocks at 5,800,000 gifts and offers a mix of utility and fun that lines up directly with the Christmas Harvest.
- Every 12 minutes, it transforms your character into a penguin that belly-slides around, which changes movement for a short time.
- While you’re collecting fruits in that state, they gain the Arctic mutation, which is tied into event mechanics and late-game builds.
If you care about stacking Arctic mutations or you just want a unique movement pattern while farming, Penguin is worth its 40,000,000 sheckles price tag once you can afford it.
3. Yule Log
The Yule Log appears when the Gifts Counter reaches 2,000,000 and costs 20,000,000 sheckles. It sits in an interesting middle ground: not as flashy as pets, but surprisingly strong for anyone leaning into cooking and pet passives.
- When placed, it provides temporary buffs to cooking, cutting down on production bottlenecks.
- It also improves Christmas-related pets, so any of the seasonal pets you own become a bit stronger during its effect window.
For players who are already set up with a decent pet roster and want smoother cooking throughput during the event, this is a strong third purchase.

Other Santa’s Stash items and when they matter
The rest of the shop is more situational, but still useful depending on how you play.
- Gift Basket – For 10,000,000 sheckles, instantly feeding every pet in your garden is a quality-of-life upgrade. It shines most on accounts with a large pet collection where manual feeding is slow.
- Gift Rat – Turning random fruits into Christmas gifts can be handy if you’re trying to stockpile event presents, but it’s not as central as the big-ticket pets and boxes.
- Christmas Crate / Christmas Present – Purely cosmetic crates. These are good if you care about character or garden aesthetics and are willing to sacrifice some progression efficiency for looks.
- Santa’s Stocking – Rerolling plant mutations is powerful in the late game, especially once you’re chasing very specific mutation combinations. At 55,000,000 sheckles it’s expensive, so it’s more of a specialist tool than an early priority.
- Pet Shard HyperHunger – Extremely strong for focused pet leveling. Hyper hunger lets a pet be fed over and over without the usual downtime, which turns any XP food you have into faster progress. Its cost and 11,000,000 gifts requirement push it toward late-game players.
Santa’s Stash is built to reward both community participation and individual investment. Contributing Christmas-mutated plants to the Christmas Harvest unlocks the shop’s full lineup and speeds up the refresh timer, while smart spending on items like Santa’s Surprise Present, Penguin, and the Yule Log can carry value well past the holiday season. If you’re short on sheckles, focus on those three first, then branch out into utility tools like Gift Basket and long-term upgrades like Pet Shard HyperHunger as your garden grows.
