Show Completion Percentage in Hollow Knight: Silksong — Farsight Guide
Hollow Knight: SilksongUnlock and assemble the Farsight, then view overall and category progress directly in your menus.

Silksong only reveals your completion percentage after you acquire and install a late‑game item called the Farsight. Use the steps below to get the Farsight in the Abyss (Act 3), assemble it in your Bellhart home, and then find the new progress readouts in your menus.
Requirements and quick notes
- Access to Act 3 and the Abyss. This is part of the main storyline progression.
- Traversal skills for a long vertical climb and a broad gap. Expect to use pogoing—downward strikes to bounce off enemies/objects—to cross sections safely.
- A Bellhart home (bellhome) to assemble the Farsight once you bring it back.
Get the Farsight in the Abyss
Step 1: Enter the Abyss after you reach Act 3 via the main quest. Move down to the area with a bench at the bottom; this marks the traversal challenge ahead.
Step 2: Cross the central chasm. Use your movement kit and pogoing to bounce off floating enemies and suspended objects; this keeps momentum while avoiding hazards and saves platforming time.
Step 3: Climb to the top of the large chamber. Prioritize safe ledges over speed; falling resets progress and costs resources.

Step 4: At the chamber’s top, hold the on‑screen prompt to play your Needolin. This opens a cocoon door leading to a room named Weavenest Absolom.

Step 5: Enter Weavenest Absolom, jump the short gap, and interact with the object ahead to collect the Farsight. It’s the key item that unlocks completion tracking once assembled.

Step 6: Optional: Check the room’s lower area to acquire the Silk Soar super jump if you haven’t already. It improves vertical routing for later exploration.
Assemble the Farsight in Bellhart
Step 1: Exit the Abyss and return to the surface. This segment is intense; take a safe route and manage heals to avoid a costly death run.
Step 2: Go to Bellhart and enter your bellhome (top‑left of the settlement’s main chamber). Your home is required to install the device.

Step 3: Interact with the central assembly point inside your home and select the Farsight. Confirm the prompt to assemble it; a short scene plays to complete the installation.

Step 4: Open your menus to verify the new readouts. The completion percentage is now tracked and displayed without needing to revisit the device.

Where to view your progress (after assembly)
- Inventory: Shows your overall completion percentage.
- Crest: Lists tools you’ve collected so far, useful for item collection progress.
- Journal: Shows enemies you’ve encountered and which entries you’ve finished writing.
Tips and common questions
- Missed the pickup? You can return to the Abyss later; the Farsight isn’t missable.
- Having trouble with the chasm? Practice pogo timing on safe enemies, and bait floating foes into convenient positions before committing to long bounces.
- Why the percentage isn’t visible earlier: Silksong hides the metric until the Farsight is installed, so defeating a final boss alone won’t enable the display.
Once the Farsight is installed, you always have a clear picture of your overall and category progress—ideal for cleanup runs and planning 100% routes.
