“Sips of Serenity” is a Wandering Tale in Where Winds Meet that plays out at Riverside Station, built around a small argument over rising tea prices. It’s quick, it’s mostly about noticing your surroundings, and it ends the moment you bring the best piece of leverage back to the vendor.
Where to start Sips of Serenity (Riverside Station)
Step 1: Travel to the Riverside Station fast travel point, then move north toward the nearby tea stand shop.
Step 2: Look behind the stand for two NPCs sitting at a table and speak with Merchant Liu to trigger the tale.
Merchant Liu’s complaint is simple: the tea seller has been raising prices, and the merchants want you to find something that justifies pushing back.
What to collect near Zhang the Teaman’s shop
Step 1: Interact with the broken bench near the merchants’ table to pick up the Rickety Stool.
Step 2: Check near the jars to the side of the shop and pick up the Tattered Cloak.
Step 3: Go to the stand itself and take the Spoiled Milk Curd from the table area.
All three items are close to the stall, and you can grab them in any order. The important part is having the full set before you return to the owner.
How the haggle works (and which item ends the quest)
Step 1: Speak with Zhang at the stand to begin the haggling conversation and choose one of the items you collected.
Step 2: Present the Tattered Cloak to successfully convince him and close out the Wandering Tale.
In practice, you can try the other items first to hear Zhang’s defenses, but the Tattered Cloak is the one that forces the issue and gets him to back down on the price increases.
