Solo Hunters Mythic weapons ranked for end-game gates (January 2026)

Solo Hunters’ end-game balance revolves around a small group of Mythic weapons that combine reliable damage with survivability tools like mobility, range control, and invincibility frames.

Quick answer: For end-game gate clearing, prioritize Dual Dagger or Shadow Scythe; use Thunder Axe when you want the most efficient wave clearing.

Mythic weapon tiers for end-game gates

Tier Weapons What the tier means for end-game
S Shadow Scythe, Thunder Axe, Dual Dagger Core picks for pushing tougher gates; strong damage profiles plus kits that help you control risk.
A Carmsei Katana, Venom Fang Strong and usable late, but generally behind S-tier on overall output or safety.
B King’s Trident Functional with standout traits, but the kit is less suited to end-gate pacing.
C Link Sword Not recommended for end-game; falls short on range and damage compared with other Mythics.

S-tier Mythic weapons (end-game priorities)

Dual Dagger is defined by speed. It has the fastest attack cadence in the game, translating into very high DPS when you can stay on target. Its kit also supports sustain through the Immortals skill, and it has a pull that can bring enemies into your damage range. The tradeoff is reach: it’s short-range, so positioning matters more than on other top weapons.

Shadow Scythe is the raw-damage option. It leads on M1 damage and swings through multiple targets in a forward cone, which helps when packs clump up in tight spaces. Several of its abilities include invincibility frames, making it unusually forgiving when you’re farming end-game gates and need to keep uptime while avoiding hits. It is slower than Dual Dagger, but it pays you back with heavier hits and multi-target basics.

Thunder Axe is the range-and-clearing specialist. It delivers high reach for the damage it deals, and its R skill is built for wave clearing thanks to a large straight-line area attack. That same R skill includes invincibility frames, which can let you take aggressive lines through enemy groups. The weakness is sustain across a full kit: outside that i-frame window, it has fewer safety tools than the other S-tier options, which can matter more in end-game gate clears.

A-tier Mythic weapons (strong, but not top picks)

Carmsei Katana plays well into bosses and mixed packs. Its C skill reaches far and does its damage at the end of its range, which rewards spacing during boss fights. The R skill adds solid damage with area coverage, and the weapon is generally quick on both M1 and skill cooldowns. It’s still placed below S-tier primarily on raw output.

Venom Fang is the “big button” weapon. Its C skill has the highest raw weapon-skill damage in the game, and it brings usable area damage on R and F. What keeps it out of the top tier is consistency: its skills are short-range, and its M1 damage trails the leading options, so it can feel less stable when you’re trying to maintain safe DPS in harder gates.

Location: Subway.

B-tier Mythic weapon (outclassed for end-game)

King’s Trident stands out on reach. It has the longest range among melee weapons, and the F skill comes back quickly enough to matter. It can hit extremely hard, but much of that damage is constrained by a narrow hitbox, and the C skill includes an invincibility frame while still feeling clunky to execute. In practice, its overall play pattern doesn’t align as well with end-game gates as the S- and A-tier weapons.

C-tier Mythic weapon (avoid for end-game)

Link Sword is the weakest Mythic option. It has very short range and low damage, to the point that it can feel close to lower-rarity weapons. For end-game gates, it’s usually not a sensible place to spend resources.

Location: Cave.

Fast verification: what to pick based on what you need

If you want the fastest weapon: Dual Daggers.

If you want the best M1 damage and i-frame-heavy kit: Shadow Scythe.

If you want the cleanest wave clearing tool: Thunder Axe’s R skill.

If you need longest melee range: King’s Trident.

If you want the highest raw weapon skill damage: Venom Fang’s C skill.

There are seven Mythic weapons as of January 2026, and the practical end-game conversation centers on the three S-tier picks. Dual Daggers and Shadow Scythe are the most broadly “best,” with Thunder Axe staying relevant whenever wave speed matters more than sustained survivability.
