How Aura Rarity Works in Sol's RNG
Every aura has a fixed numerical drop chance that determines how likely you are to land it on any given roll. The game groups auras into rarity classes — Basic, Epic, Unique, Legendary, Mythic, Exalted, Glorious, Transcendent, Challenged, and Event-exclusive — but two auras within the same class can have wildly different odds. A Glorious aura might be 1 in 100,000,000 or 1 in 850,000,000, depending on which one it is.
Several mechanics affect your effective odds. Many auras are native to specific biomes, meaning their drop rate improves dramatically when that biome is active. Rolling a biome-native aura outside its home biome is called a Breakthrough (BT), and the Breakthrough version always has worse odds. Each biome carries a multiplier — Windy uses 3x, Rainy uses 4x, Starfall uses 5x — that divides the native rate to produce the Breakthrough rate. Some auras, like Oppression in the Glitched biome, cannot be obtained through Breakthrough at all.
Auras can also be mutations — rarer variants of existing auras, usually identified by a colon in the name (Exotic: Apex, Chromatic: Genesis). Mutations are almost always harder to get than the base version.
When you roll an aura above certain rarity thresholds, the game plays progressively more dramatic cutscenes. Anything above 1 in 99,999,998 is considered a "global" aura, and the entire server receives a notification when someone lands one. Transcendent auras (above 1 in 1,000,000,000) get fully unique cutscenes with custom music.

Monarch stands alone at the top. It carries the Challenged rarity class, which means a specific in-game condition must be met before you can even roll it. A few standouts deserve attention. I'm peach is an Event-exclusive from the 2024 April Fools event that ran from April 1 through April 26. Its 1 in 400,000,000 rate was already extreme, but the real difficulty came from the era it launched in. Luck-boosting items were far weaker at the time, and I'm peach required rolling Impeached first and then hitting a 1 in 2 mutation chance. The community widely considers it one of the most valuable auras in the game despite its "lower" numerical rarity compared to Transcendents. Abyssal Hunter sits at 1 in 400,000,000 as a Breakthrough rate, but drops to 1 in 100,000,000 when the Rainy biome is active.

B-Tier Auras — 1 in 10,000,000 to 1 in 92,118,000
B-tier is where Exalted auras dominate. Drop rates here range from 1 in 10 million to just under 1 in 100 million — still extraordinarily rare by any normal standard, but meaningfully more achievable than the tiers above. Landing any of these represents a significant milestone for most players.

Many B-tier auras have biome-native rates that are significantly better than their Breakthrough odds. Blizzard, for instance, drops at 1 in 9,105,000 during the Snowy biome but jumps to 1 in 27,315,000 outside of it. Hurricane drops to 1 in 4,500,000 when Windy is active. If you're targeting a specific Exalted aura, rolling during its native biome is the most efficient approach by far.

C-Tier Auras — 1 in 1,000,000 to 1 in 9,400,000 (Mythic)
Mythic-rarity auras fill this tier almost entirely. For most players, landing a C-tier aura represents the first time they'll feel like they've beaten the odds in a meaningful way. Drop rates here are still in the millions, but they're within reach during extended rolling sessions, especially with Luck potions active.

Biome-native rates make a huge difference at this tier. Solar: Solstice drops to 1 in 500,000 during the Day cycle. Lunar: Full Moon hits the same 1 in 500,000 at Night. Hades improves to 1 in 1,111,111 during the Hell biome, and Poseidon reaches 1 in 1,000,000 during Rainy. Timing your rolls around biome spawns is the single most impactful thing you can do to target specific Mythic auras.

D-Tier Auras — 1 in 99,999 to 1 in 850,000 (Legendary)
Legendary auras form the last tier that feels meaningfully "rare." Their drop rates are in the hundreds of thousands, making them achievable goals for dedicated players without extreme Luck stacking. Everything below Legendary falls into E-tier. These roughly 59 auras span the Basic, Epic, and Unique rarity classes, with drop rates ranging from 1 in 1 (Nothing, which you get in The Limbo) all the way up to about 1 in 90,000. You'll accumulate most of these naturally during normal play without trying. They include familiar names like Common, Uncommon, Rage, Emerald, Sapphire, and Aquamarine on the Basic side, along with Epic auras like Diaboli, Magnetic, and Flora, and Unique auras like Permafrost, Stormal, and Nautilus.
None of these carry significant trade value or prestige, but some have appealing visual designs worth equipping if you like the look.

Biome-Exclusive and Glitched Auras Worth Knowing
A handful of auras can only be obtained inside a specific biome and have no Breakthrough path at all. The Glitched biome — the rarest in the game at a 1 in 30,000 spawn chance per biome change — contains three such exclusives. Fault drops at 1 in 3,000 during Glitched, Glitch at 1 in 12,210,110, and Oppression at 1 in 220,000,000. Because the biome itself lasts only 2 minutes and 44 seconds and appears so infrequently, Oppression is considered one of the hardest auras to obtain in the entire game despite its numerical rarity being lower than many S-tier entries.
Sol's RNG currently holds around 339 total auras, with 132 permanent non-native options, 83 biome-native auras obtainable through Breakthrough, 46 mutations, 11 biome-locked exclusives, 113 limited event auras, and 5 craftable auras. The game continues to add new auras with major updates, so these numbers shift regularly. Collecting everything is a long-term project measured in months or years — and for the Transcendent tier, possibly never.
